About the new season in general, agree with others that we need 4 or 5 new players.
But just as important, so looking forward to our existing players playing without fear, passing the ball, using their talents!

Phil, not that it matters, but yup pretty sure home team won the shootout. From memory we only missed two or three.
And, home team had one less penalty as one of our players - Kevin - had to leave early.
Anyone else can shed some light?

To be on the same pitch as Dyer was a privilege, and then he goes and sets up my goal which made it even sweeter!

...and for those that say 'be careful what you wish for'...
Sorry but we are at the point where pretty much any change would be good. The players we have aren't top players, but they are decent enough and if they were encouraged and trained to play decent football and pass to a player instead of hoofing it upfield they'd do a lot better and certainly no worse than they are now.

This season and our club in general is getting worse and worse.
Can't believe we have stooped so low to be promoting gambling...
Is there anything we can do?
If MM goes - which hopefully will happen soon - our football will improve.
But, the club won't. It will still be under the 'leadership' of ME.

And for those that think things are ok because if we win our game in hand we go in to the play off spots, things are not ok for the following reasons:
-The owner says nothing, does nothing, hardly communicates with the manager
-players have left the club citing the style of play as the main reason (tommy oar as an example)
-crowds lowest they been for years
-very poor style of play over several seasons
-immovable safety net for some players but not others
-rude to the fans on a consistent basis
-openly says he'd be very happy at another club (show some respect please)
-long serving club servants voluntarily moving on from the club
-with the players we have we could be even higher in the league if only they were trusted and allowed to play proper football
MM knows he won't get the sack and now he doesn't care. In a way you can't blame him for that.

Just seen the highlights...
How many times has chambers stuffed up? And yet he always gets picked. Was the same last season. Shocking.
And, seems like every time skuse plays we go a step back. It's like playing with 10 men, much rather bru than skuse. Was the same last season.
Hopefully for everyone's sake MM leaves at the end of the year, including MM's sake as I'm sure he'd like a new challenge from what he's said. But the main problem as others have said is ME - he shows no signs of leaving....

Yes he's a promising young player, it's good he's signed up, and hopefully chambers goes nowhere near right back ever again!
But from what I saw last season josh Emmanuel is a better player. Josh has so many qualities and would probably like to know why he was dropped after man of the match performances! Won't have done his confidence much good (poor management by MM)
Josh could probably play in a few different positions too, which may well help him get a start.

First half we played ok, not great but ok. Rowe looked a real threat attacking on the right.
What does MM do? He changes it to 3 at the back and puts Rowe as left wing back! Poor Rowe disappeared after that.
He takes off kenlock who was playing fine. Puts Emanuel on on the left, then switches him to the right, ending up with Emmanuel and spence playing on top of each other. They didn't have a clue where to position themselves, probably because they have never played like that in training. Then MM realised and puts Emanuel on the left again.
One of best strikers is stuck on the left. Poor sears. Sears - do yourself a favour - find a club with a half decent manager.
Yes chambers is much better at centre back, but how many times did he get done over by Assam... or ward? All you have to do is run at him.
Berra had his best game for ages, except he gave the ball away in the lead up to the first goal. Apart from that he was back to his best.
At the end we played with two central strikers, shame sears couldn't be one of them. Or even pitman. Both are significantly better that Samuel and Moore. Can't MM see that?
And skuse...he's does what he does but what he does is limited. Big 'Dave' from Leeds was an all round better player. He actually attacked the ball, and looked to make attacking passes. He was a box to box player. Skuse will never be that.
I truly believe the players are not to blame.
We have been heading in one direction over the last two and a half years.
MM just go, and do so without having a dig at the fans or the players, please.
