Interesting to read below on how Huddersfield's manager Lee Clark go Jordan Rhodes:
Clark worked hard to secure Rhodes from Ipswich during the summer, and he added: "I phoned Roy Keane (Ipswich manager) over the summer about a few other players and cheekily mentioned Jordan's name at the end of the list. I got no response about Jordan but I kept at it and gradually wore Keane down.

Sorry but until Keane goes we will continue to prop up the table!!
The game tonight was an embarrassing memory to Sir Bobby.
The defence needs a overhaul, the midfiled has no steel, and the forwards look lost as have no service.
Keane has managed to dismantle a whole squad in just 3 months, we needed to add only a few more players to last seasons squad, but instead so many players are now out of favour.
He has WASTED money on Delaney, Martin, Healy, and maybe Priskin, but time will tell on that one, as he needs a run in the team for me to make a judgement.
All in all very unhappy with the way the club is run at present, but would love to be proved wrong, but cant see it at present.

Our scouts (probably boy scouts...) really need to start looking at footballers, this I beleive is where we are going wrong. Rangers have a young lad who is good at hopscotch, so the two may well solve our problem at the back. |

In the words of Roy Keane 4 months ago (I'm not here to make friends) I have enough already!! Clearly not refering to any of the current ITFC squad. 6 changes tonight, yet the same outcome. Can we please at least stick to the same team for more than 1 game, so I can start to remember some names. What the hell was Healy & Delaney doing playing tonight, sorry but have seen enough of them already to realise they are of no help to the ITFC plight.

After watching todays display I am for the first time WORRIED that we may have chosen the wrong man for the job. I know it's still early but....
RK signings Delaney and Healy were not even in the 18 man squad today (and righly so) but this is a worry as these are his purchases. The defence looks dodgy right accross the back, Pim had a nighmare today and Smith is no left back.
In Midfield we have no creativity and backbone, Garvan has gone backwards, and Man U must be rubbing their hand with glee for the money they received for Martin (another RK signing)
Up front is difficult to tell as chances are not being created for our frontmen, so cannot really judge.
The only sure thing is that Richard Wright saved us today from an absolute hammering.
Please Roy do something about this before people start talking about local Derby's with Norwich again next year in League 1.
