| News Comment | Jewell Hopeful on Sonko at 10:42:34
Yup, would definitely rather have him back. Would we get 50% of the sell-on if we bought him? Love the "Delaney is more of a concern" statement. Too right, I poo myself every time the ball goes near him. |
| News Comment | Delaney and Osman at London Branch AGM at 00:05:01
Russell should be playing now. Tie his ankles together, blindfold him and he'd still be more use than Delaney. Our defence descended into panic when he came on against Coventry, thank f he wasn't on from the start. Please could somebody ask Damian to explain man to man marking or the offside rule, I bet the guy hasn't a clue. Remember his own goal against Forest? What a pillock! |
| News Comment | Jewell: We Need to Stop Feeling Sorry for Ourselves at 03:17:10
Well, given that the seagull was man of the match for us I guess we all know how it went. To be fair, first half we shaded it without having a shot on target. Never looked in danger. Then they scored and it was obvious they would score again, Jewell was too slow to change things. Edwards - you are not a right back, please relocate to the right wing or go home (on public transport obviously) Cresswell - the most naive left back we've had for a long while, always out of position and guiding his man the wrong way. Responsible for so many goals and stress already, you are not ready (apparently Mark Kennedy can play left back) Bowyer - is your shirt number equal to your IQ? Sort yourself out. Leadbitter - just go please Bullard - will let you off, clearly not fit Murphy - you had the 3 best chances of the match. Shall I draw you a picture of the goal? If you don't care, please go with leadboots Chops - sorry we kept "passing" the ball 10 feet over your head. Sign the seagull now |

Of course, he could just be taking a look at Barnet in case we're playing them next season........ |
| News Comment | Town Already Planning for Great Leap Forward at 11:05:48
What a wonderfully heartwarming story that shows how that nice Mr Clegg is planning ahead. I love the touchy feely way he's "gauged" the current residents of the Cobbold stand. Amazed he could find them awake though, they always seem comatose during the game. Seriously, turf the zombies out and move the away fans to the north stand end please. |
| News Comment | Tune for the Town? at 11:48:49
I don't think we have any problem making noise after a goal, it's the 89 other minutes we struggle with. Just play a recording of a crowd during the game like they do at Chelsea, will make the place less of a library. |
| News Comment | Tune for the Town? at 17:56:45
How about 4 different songs, one in each stand? Maybe: North - No music. We're capable of making our own noise thank you very much. Cobbold - Maybe a funeral march. Seems fitting to the people there. South - A recording of a stern librarian hushing. Britannia - Something to entertain the kids perhaps, maybe the birdy song. Or we could go a stage further and play crowd noises to save everyone the trouble of making noise themselves. |
| News Comment | Free Coach Travel to Blackpool as Town Say Sorry at 16:10:31
What a thoughtful and generous gesture from the club. I was going to drive up there, but now getting the coach and hopefully we'll take bags of fans to cheer the boys on. Well done Clegg. Can't believe some people are whinging about this. Obviously it's not everyone that can benefit and to be spiteful and childish is quite pathetic really. Presume you'll be hoping we lose just to spite those that do make it. Unbelievable! |
| News Comment | Jewell Apologises for Worst Defeat in Management at 14:04:25
Since Evans "saved" us we've become a pathetic franchise with players that don't care and spoilt, impatient fans who have turned Portman Road into a dreamland for visiting teams. I fear that so much damage has been done that the effects are almost irreversible. Evans please go, and if that means we go into liquidation then so be it. |
| News Comment | Jewell Apologises for Worst Defeat in Management at 11:45:49
Yup. Peters at full back, Hyam or Healy in front of the back 4 to give them protection. Will improve things, but with no leadership there we're still not going anywhere except down. Perhaps Marcus Evans and Clegg should play as centre backs against Leeds. |
| News Comment | Jewell Apologises for Worst Defeat in Management at 11:27:51
Just a thought, but if the linesman was remotely competent we go into half time at 1-1 and with 11 players. Perhaps a different game? Please stop defending Cresswell by the way. His positioning was appalling all game. Nowhere near good enough. Completely sucked inside for their equaliser and seemed to be marking one of our players. All good teams are built on a solid defence and we have no leader back there. Leadbitter. Please go. You don't want or deserve to wear the shirt. |
| News Comment | Jewell Apologises for Worst Defeat in Management at 23:06:39
Maybe we need to go down. We don't play as a team, our owner is a faceless corporate investor and 90% of our fans are spoilt whingers. We're a joke and have been for several years. That said, the officials tonight take incompetence to a new level. Presumably they work in the public sector during the daytime. |
| News Comment | Clegg: Win Just Around Corner at 15:35:32
Clegg is way too smooth to be PM. Makes a great spin doctor though - doesn't matter if he's telling the truth or lying, same false smile. Isn't it strange how we covet the ability to say lots, but yet say nothing? Anyway, we are too good to go down. Keep the faith. |
