Should I be flabbergasted at how out of touch some people are on here? We buy Al-Hamadi in the Championship as a promising prospect (his goals in L2 prove that.
We then get promoted and our ask of him sky rockets. He's not going to tear through the league like Delap has and it stands to reason that we should loan him out to see how he does in the Championship. It's a gamble, but McKenna thought he was worth a 1m punt (which is nothing by the way - this isn't 2007 anymore), so it would be utterly pointless to try and make a quick million or two out of him.
He clearly has potential even in the Premiership, so give him a chance. Not really too much to ask, is it? |

To the earlier posters- we're never going to be first choice against established Premiership sides, surely this is obvious? It doesn't mean we should dismiss players for daring to not show immediate loyalty to us and the project kmck is building. We would be left with a pretty narrow pool if players if that were so. |
