 | News Comment | Luton Eyeing Al-Hamadi at 16:00:53
He joined as we were on the ascendancy so it's hardly surprising he struggled to get in the team when we jumped up two divisions from his joining. |
 | News Comment | Ex-Town Defender Tuanzebe Suing Manchester United at 14:12:02
Sorry RIPBobby disliked your post by mistake. A lot of assumptions flying around about a subject few of us know anything about. I'm sure he has a viable case or he wouldn't be bothering with the legal action. |
 | News Comment | Burnley Now Leading Cajuste Chase at 21:01:38
What a fickle bunch on here. This story will drag on for a bit but I laugh when posters suddenly snap and declare he's being disloyal and even that we don't need him after a few days off speculation. In the championship? He'd be an insane signing. Who are we going to sign of his calibre instead? I suspect he'll move to wherever furthers his career the most. Can't blame him really? |
 | News Comment | Fleximize New Shorts Sponsor at 11:33:32
My opening post looks a lot more negative than intended. Some quick research on this company shows they're highly rated and also based in Ipswich. A good fit! |

A new 'word' uncovered that I didn't know I hated. Still, better than having a gambling company on our kit. |
 | News Comment | Former Blues Boss McCarthy Inducted into LMA Hall of Fame at 10:17:51
Mick did a fantastic job with limited resources. But tractorboybig what does the 150 mil have to do with anything? Classic whataboutery and incredibly cheap snipe as a completely different scenario. MMc didn't have the lowest squad value in league but we were on a steady decline due to lack of investment. Kmk DID have the lowest squad value in the league (even after the 150m spend) yet had kept us in good stead to fight back next season. |
 | News Comment | Clarke Set to Join Blades On Loan at 10:52:23
Just checked the Wednesday forums and they are convinced Chris Wilder is obsessed with them after pulling off this little 'steel'. United are in a strong position but I hope this translates to game time for Harry |
 | News Comment | Al-Hamadi Stoke Loan Agreed and Medical Passed at 15:27:09
This is a good opportunity. He's not had a proper chance to prove himself (eg coming on at 87th minute) but that is the nature of the game. I hope he smashes it and gives McKenna another chance to assess him. |
 | News Comment | Al-Hamadi West Brom Move Breaks Down at 22:02:58
Should I be flabbergasted at how out of touch some people are on here? We buy Al-Hamadi in the Championship as a promising prospect (his goals in L2 prove that. We then get promoted and our ask of him sky rockets. He's not going to tear through the league like Delap has and it stands to reason that we should loan him out to see how he does in the Championship. It's a gamble, but McKenna thought he was worth a 1m punt (which is nothing by the way - this isn't 2007 anymore), so it would be utterly pointless to try and make a quick million or two out of him. He clearly has potential even in the Premiership, so give him a chance. Not really too much to ask, is it? |
 | News Comment | Town Winning Race For O'Shea at 11:09:56
To the earlier posters- we're never going to be first choice against established Premiership sides, surely this is obvious? It doesn't mean we should dismiss players for daring to not show immediate loyalty to us and the project kmck is building. We would be left with a pretty narrow pool if players if that were so. |
 | News Comment | MacAnthony: I Am F*****g Stunned By Szmodics Deal! at 14:51:25
Foul-mouthed yes, but also very complementary of Ipswich in his own way. He's ranting because he thinks Pboro could have got a lot more for him in this deal. Quite funny really. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Nothing Imminent at 23:45:35
People shouldn't really be getting worked up in a frenzy about the throwaway "nothing imminent" quote. McKenna plays his cards close to his chest - we certainly won't be hearing about any incoming players from him (as should be the way). |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-0 OGC Nice - Match Report at 14:34:57
Solid match to end the pre-season and a good morale boost. I think the Nice Twitter admin must have been watching another game though: "...In the second half, Ipswich took advantage of a scramble in the box to score from a corner (56’) despite the Niçois’ domination during the match." |
 | News Comment | Town Launch Pink Third Kit Designed With Sheeran at 14:44:46
The fact we have Fram castle on our kit does it for me as a medieval history nerd. How's many other clubs in history have had a castle on the actual kit (not including badges)? |
