Blues and Foxes Fans to Join National Protest
at 18:43:18

Bottom line is money goes in the top from fans, viewers, etc and goes straight through to players, managers, coaches and their agents and CEOs. None of them really care about fans. Ever heard the PFA or LMA argue for wage restraint from their members?

Hate parachute payments but we're doing what the league bosses say they are there for, encouraging teams to "invest" in the team. The money comes from the line of credit taken out recently secured against income from this league.

Ashton: Over the Next Few Weeks Portman Road is Going to Be a Building Site
at 19:43:06

Sad that people don't read the article or watch the interview before posting. Increasing away capacity is nothing to do with sky and the rest of the moves are for changes that have to be made to meet the Premier League's requirements. Ashton has said anyone affected will be contacted directly, no doubt they will have the option to cancel a renewed ticket. Just need to be patient and anyone that really wants their old seat back later should hope we get relegated. That's the only way that might happen!

Ipswich Town 2-1 Sunderland - Match Report

All we can expect of any of our players is that they give us their best and that's what they all do. And if that's not good enough for some on here they should have a go at the manager for picking him or Ashton for not getting anyone better.

Ipswich Town 3-2 Swansea City - Match Report

Nobody expects perfection, but we're no longer in the Marcus Evans era when there was no ambition and an acceptance of mediocrity. The Game has Changed. Strive for continuous improvement. Relish what as been achieved so far and want more ahead. If players are giving their best which they all are, wanting even better players is not to criticise the current incumbents. That's football and only 5 "of the first choice XI a year ago would get a start in a game now. No stagnation, always looking to improve, as it should always be.

Whatever anyone thinks of Woolfenden facts are that the manager currently sees him as the best player for his position and, assuming the club genuinely wants to progress upwards, he and every other player will be replaced with a better player when one becomes available. Constant improvement. Already happened in the right back position.

McCarthy: McKenna's Doing a Remarkable Job
at 18:59:21

Agreed The voice of reason. I suspect that although Evans was parsimonious with the budget for players he wasn't with what he paid the manager. McCarthy was Evans's man and did what Evans paid him to do, keep us afloat in the second division and attendances etc. did not matter.

Freshening up the facade with consistent colour and graphic is great. Then plastering it with a massive advert for a here today gone tomorrow kit supplier dominating the view on approach is tacky, classless and completely unnecessary. Do we really need their money that much? We're better than that.

I think we're the best team in the league over the last third of the season but whoever comes first will be proven to be the best team in the league over the full season. Come August it will be irrelevant history anyway, and we'll start again with everything to prove.
