How about dropping them for some more meaningful games that the fans wold like to see? Say, against Scotland, Wales, etc.?
(Bizarrely, one of the gaslighting excuses given for cancelling the Home Internationals was "to focus on playing stronger, more glamorous teams".) |

Probably missed him because he was just released and went without a club for a while. Supposedly quite well thought of before he came to us from his spells at Spurs and Swansea. I think he hadn't really recovered from injury. |

I don't really get so many people saying he'll be off. 8 million on a 4 year contract. A nasty injury ended his season early. He's already played half as many games this season as last season. A bit early to give up on him. A short loan to build up more match fitness, possibly. |

We now have a few days to get rid of 5 and everyone knows it, so I'm not expecting any big fees. I suppose that Townsend will be deregistered. Woolfy seems to want to go, so maybe that can be engineered. I'm not hearing a lot of support for Taylor, but I think we need him. Maybe further loans for some of Clarke, Baggott, Humphreys, Al Hamadi? |
