If you have a beast of a desktop pc that can run heavy duty apps and games then parsec is brilliant for a laptop as it is a low latency remote desktop app designed for gaming. i use it for work and gaming on my laptop as all the processing power is done on my desktop https://parsec.app/ |

From what Stuart Watson has put out about the video I think you are exactly right and this season is seen as getting the team together ready for automatics next season. Not something most of our fans will hear though “A lot of the team we had suffered in League One together. For a lot of them, in their first six months, they didn’t win a lot or play very well. Then we had six months where we played pretty well but didn’t win as much as we would want to or need to get promotion. We then had two years of winning a lot, but with some bumps in the road. There were some question marks and tough periods along the way, but that all helped the group build that connection, bond, self-belief, confidence and trust. Now we need to go through that again." |

FM Scout now have their effective FM26 DLC available: https://www.fmscout.com/a-fm24-to-fm26-dlc.html Although the date in the game remains as a 2023 start date the 2 year player age fix and, the soon to be available, 2 year contract fix make this work. upto date transfers post transfer window etc etc as well |

For me, we went into an unstoppable force when Mass and Morsy paired up in the double pivot. You can't buy that telepathic understanding that drove us on and on. This has been totally lacking in the current squad but I really hope Nunez and Cajuste can bring this creativity/drive alongside Matusiwa. I also wonder about dropping our central 10 and playing both Nunez and Cajuste ahead of Matusiwa as if almost every team is going to be full on low block we may need the extra creativity more than the extra holding midfielder |
 | Forum Thread | Harry Clarke at 12:44 1 Sep 2025
In pre-season, before he was injured, was Harry being played as a holding midfielder or did i imagine it? If so, would make sense to keep in the squad as cover for Matusiwa |

The price tag is the big problem for me, for that I want a player opposition teams have to worry about. Seems £8m too much to me. Over Hyped and Over Here Saying that he looks exactly the player Derby would love to have |

and from what i have read his left foot is his stronger foot - even better finish as that was his right foot. having said that, from the video Phil put up, he looks very 2 footed |

It is a horrible injury for a professional sportsman. Hopefully he comes back well but it is certainly no given. One of my uncles is a surgeon and hugely into sport and i asked him in general terms about coming back from a snapped achilles and it was interesting what he said about best and worst case scenarios, particularly if a hypothetical athlete relies heavily on pace - hopefully Ogbene with professional level of consultants and physio is in the best case scenario. |
 | Forum Reply | Kasey McAteer - here we go! at 09:43 22 Aug 2025
With Leicester said to have bid for Ivanovic yesterday - if they sign him we will have massivly improved a promotion rival by getting rid of a squad player and giving them £12 million to pay most of the fee for a forward that many people on here wanted us to sign. I know which of the 2 players I'd be very happy to sign and which one I am bemused by, for that fee. Yes, Kieran may turn him into Ronaldo but currently it seems as likely as it is for the Leicester fans to be right about him. |

The clue is in the opening line |
 | Forum Reply | Kasey McAteer at 13:36 21 Aug 2025
Looked at Leicester foxes forum and this came up about him: He's got a really weird skill set. He does seem (or did seem, it's alluded him a tiny bit lately) to genuinely be a pretty composed finisher and his runs ghosting off the ball to find space in behind are actually pretty good. Combined with his work rate and his aggression, he probably reminds me more of a mini-Vards than anything else. But not a single coach / manager in his career seems to have ever really considered playing him down the middle so there has to be something in that. Around the rest of the pitch, he seems too undisciplined positionally and not good enough in the tackle to be a full back, too technically limited to be a winger and doesn't seem to have the football intelligence and vision to really be a 10. Just doesn't seem to have a speciality other than running around a lot so... |

This has been what has been intriguing me this summer - it was only when Mass and Morsy started games together that the team went into an 18 month overdrive. Farke claimed, when Leeds failed to go up, that if he had had both in his central midfield all season, Leeds would have been champions. It's also been my primary issue with Taylor that he never gells with whoever he is playing alongside and that 'chemistry' superpower we had is AWOL. Obviously getting a midfeld pairing that gells is the aim but this I imagine is about luck as much as anything else. Napoleon Bonaparte is famously quoted as saying, "I'd rather have lucky generals than good ones." luckily for us McKenna is outstanding as a manager and he is also lucky (in terms of Morsy & Luongo) |
 | Forum Reply | Devastating blow, so gutted to lose Sam (n/t) at 11:26 15 Jul 2025
Hopefully Matusiwa lives up to the hype and softens the blow big time. From his interview and supposedly style etc he may become a real cult favourite with us, fingers crossed. Taylor doesn't cut it in any form for me. 2 years under McKenna and he has not improved at all. To me, 2025/6 Morsy is head and shoulders above the best possible version of Taylor which makes the though of Sammy going even worse. Cameron Humphreys is an interesting one. He looks like he 'could' become a really good player but, if we go back to the Premier League this season, will that be good enough for us next season? I think if he is in our plans he needs a lower midtable championship loan where the terms are totally loaded to the loaning club if he plays each week may be the best bet. He develops at a reasonable level and we can worry about the future for him at the end of the season. Also agree, min 2 in. I would still like Gus Hamer if we could prise him away - him and Matusiwa would be something else. |
 | Forum Reply | 28 senior players now - so need to shift 3 to name the 25 man squad at 10:39 14 Jul 2025
Taylor for me needs to be shifted. Never asserted himself as a starter and he has had plenty of chances. For a player McKenna really chased, has he improved at all after 2 years of McKennas coaching? With him clearly wanting to start games but only having 1 year on his contract, I would deffo be looking to get anything back for him to avoid him leaving on a free in the summer. From my persepective his ship sailed long ago. His biggest failing that I see is not forming a partnership with any other player on the pitch let alone his double pivot partner. He looks lost in the double pivot and is miles behind our attacking options as a 10 - just does not suit our system in any way. Possible options (a) Sell now (b) keep as squad player and accept he will likely walk for free next summer (c) extend contract and possibly accept his wishes for more starts |

Totally agree about him, RIP. I am currently reading the autobiography of another from that era with similar gravitas and authenticity, "Going to the Wars" by Max Hastings, which is a very interesting book. |
 | Forum Reply | Philogene injury at 09:52 6 Jul 2025
I was reading an article about Grealish this week and how Man City want £40 million for him and that several big clubs want him but none will pay anything like that for him. Obviously at 29 he would be a depreciating asset but it did make me think that £35 million for Omari is a serious amount to spend and hopefully puts many clubs off |
 | Forum Reply | Ambitous summer plans at 13:28 25 Jun 2025
agree with all of that. Taylor has had 2 years to learn/adapt under McKenna and failed to do so. Anonymous on pitch, doesn't work with any other midfielder. I would rather have kept Massimo than Taylor. Trouble is he has cost a fair bit of money (pre-premier league amounts) as i recall Darragh MacAnthony saying on the hard truth that the big money from the sale of Taylor to us is if we get into the premier league. Similarly with Ben Johnson - doesn't appear to be a wingback or defender full stop. how does he get ahead of our wide attacking players? maybe the odd game where we are worried about opposition. |
