Happy to do things 'legally' - it's just been so frustrating trying to get my head round it all! Not helped by the guys on the Town TV website initially telling me we had to buy an International Members Subscription which cost £45 - that would allow us to buy a Match Pass for every game at a cost of £10 a game ... so at least the TownTV+ option is a bit more bearable! |

Not sure if this will help anyone else ... I've been going round in ever-decreasing circles trying to get this sorted out ... finally (!) I think I've cracked it! Town TV are now offering a TownTV+ subscription for international subscribers - it costs £20 a month or £170 for the year ... and will guarantee you can watch the EFL games live EXCEPT for those games that have been selected for international streaming. (Previously this subscription - same price - last time in the Championship - gave us access to ALL live games. So ... then you need to find out if your country of residence has purchased the rights to stream live games from the EFL this season. Here's the list of countries that are classed as an 'unsold territory' Which should mean you can watch ALL the games live: American Samoa, Belarus, Belgium, Brunei, Cambodia, Christmas Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Cook Islands, East Timor, Faroe Islands, Fiji, Gibraltar, Guam, Italy, Kiribati, Laos, Macau, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Niue, Norfolk Island, North Korea, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Pitcairn Islands, Poland, Samoa, Solomon Islands, South Tyrol (Italy), Spain, Tahiti (French Polynesia), Taiwan, Tokelau, Tonga, Turkey, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Vietnam, Wallis & Futuna, Western Samoa (Samoa). ... Well, Portugal isn't listed there so a quick search confirmed that the Portuguese SPortTV channel has bought the rights to the EFL for this season. They seem to have a random selection of games they are showing each week. Here's a link that shows which games will be live on SportTV: https://www.efl.com/how-to-watch/upcoming-tv-games ... So in order to watch all the games this season we've had to take out the £170 TownTV+ subscription AND a monthly SPortTV subscription costing 32:99€ a month (Beware if you are in Portugal and you try to buy your subscription through your Vodafone TV package as an add-on - DON'T buy the cheapest option as that DOESN'T include the SportTV6 channel which is where a lot of the EFL games are shown live!!! Make sure your package includes the SportTV6 channel!) ... And there you have it! How to watch the games live if you live in Portugal! (I think - I hope!!!!) Time will tell - so far we've watched the first 2 games live that were on SkySports as they were live on SportTV too... and this weekend we've got the 'Video Purchased Available Soon' message on Town TV so our £170 membership is working! ... I need a lie down in a darkened room now... [Post edited 22 Aug 15:39]

I have a Town TV subscription - it says that you can listen to it live free if you have a subscription - if you want to watch it live you have to pay £4.99 Fair enough - but when I clicked on the Match Pass option I tried to purchase the 'one-off' ticket through the Link account for payments - but it comes up with this message: Subscribe to PRE-SEASON ABERDEEN £𝟒.𝟗𝟗 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 For members with coupon code. Broadcast live with commentary on Friday, 25 July from Pittodrie. Kick-off at 7.30pm BST. One-off pay-per-view purchase. 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝟑 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 !!!! The button to purchase at the bottom says Pay and Subscribe and is faded out so I can't press it anyway? I've sent them an email - waiting for a reply! |

thanks - that's what I thought. TBH I never thought to look at the DAZN website I just went via Vodafone as it was easy to set up on the TV. Never thought to see if there were more than 6 DAZN dedicated channels as that's what came up on the screen. But this week they are showing only 3 live Premier League games and 2 channels have Bundesliga games... |

Anyone else on here have a DAZN sports channel account? We took out our subscription via our Vodafone TV box here in Portugal, and so far we've been able to watch the games live. But our subscription only shows DAZN channels 1-6 and the Brighton game this weekend isn't listed. But if I go to the DAZN website, it clearly states they are streaming ALL the Premier League games live and the Ipswich game is listed as an upcoming live stream... Should we have taken out a DAZN subscription via their website (instead of via our TV package?) - do they have more channels via the website than the 6 listed on our TV?!!! I've tried to get an answer from their helpdesk email - you can guess how useful that has been so far (!!) so I thought I'd try and ask on here instead! |

Just received an email from Town TV clarifying the situation for international subscribers. They will no longer be streaming live matches to international subscribers: "As a Premier League Club, we must now follow a revised set of competition rules." An international subscription next season will cost £5.99 the same as for UK viewers, and "Although Town TV next season will not feature live coverage of first-team fixtures we will still be showing exclusive on-demand content and unrivalled access to the Men’s team, Women’s team and Academy. Subscribers will also be able to listen to live audio commentary, watch full match replays, and gain exclusive access to TownTV’s new live preview show which will launch soon." Whilst we understand this, we are obviously disappointed, especially as we live in an 'unsold market' (Portugal) and cannot access Sky Sports or TNT Sports... or any UK TV for that matter... I've emailed them to ask how soon after a game has ended they will be allowed to upload the full match replay... |
