Breaking Bad is still the benchmark for me.. but I'd like to offer Homeland into the mix, where BB was a little slow in the first season or two, Homeland was at its best in the beginning.. it couldn't keep that level of intensity after those first two seasons in all honesty, but it was most definitely still worth a watch to its conclusion. My wife and I loved watching Person of Interest around that time also, pretty trashy.. but good trash if you know what I mean.. Jonathan Nolan went on to do Westworld afterwards, haven't seen it, but it's supposed to be great. |

My views would now probably be against the grain of most Town fans.. But I would say, with hindsight, forget about trying to get to the Championship in one season, clear some of the deadwood, pick and handful of decent, proven players, and introduce more of our youngsters that obviously have talent.. as small a squad as possible, playing the kind of football we're aching to see, regardless of results The problem with this club is urgency to achieve.. and that, very clearly, is going to take a lot longer than our impatience can take |

Yeah, was supposed to see BC, NR at Junction on Tuesday.. also cancelled with no new date.. I suspect they'll schedule for after new album now, with upgrade to Corn Exchange like Future Islands did |

How about The Black Lion in Long Melford.. Great circular walks skirting the village, or walk along the railway line to either Sudbury or Lavenham |

I watched the video for the new development in Pawtucket and am insanely jealous.. jealous that local government, business people and locals want to invest so much into a sport in their town.. yeah, it's probably easier if you don't have the history like we do.. but it's still a punt on what, the fourth most popular sport in the US? If Ipswich don't modernise very soon, we stand ro lose much much more than I think people realise.. We have lost a ton of ground on our biggest rival, I wouldn't be surprised if they move home before us.. Norwich as a place seems to be a lot more forward thinking than Ipswich.. Also, with a country like the US now heavily investing in 2nd tier football, eventually even the Premier League will start to lose a little of it's limelight. Yes, I've loved going to Portman Rd over the years, we ALL have.. but, we as a team have stood still for far too long now..both on and off the pitch.. and in this fast moving game, that means we've gone backwards |

Just like everyone on this forum, I have some fantastic memories at Portman Rd.. lost my dad not so long ago and we went together many times.. Happy days But.. I would be happy for us to move to a new purpose built ground (that we'd own?) Decent travel links, food outlets, parking.. I personally feel people on this forum are still stuck in the 70s and 80s and the current ground certainly is.. I know my view is unpopular, but I don't give a toss, it's my view.. Sooner or later Town will move grounds, regardless of anyone's viewpoint.. I say do it now (if this takeover happens) |

How do we get this clown out of 'our' club? This football club is falling apart, not one of you can tell me how he has improved ITFC, he may have chucked the odd plaster on, but nothing more. Get used to the current situation and feel of how our club currently is, it'll be no different (probably slightly worse) for a couple of decades.. unless the fans somehow manage to force him out of Town It is time for action! |
