 | News Comment | Town Return to Action Against Second-Bottom Swindon at 21:45:04
@ dirtywhatever What on earth are you talking about? Why do I not recognise the serious situation? TractorFrog said: "We just need to get into the top six on PPG and then I would be happy for the rest of the season to be cancelled..." Do you even think before you write? He's putting football promotion over the Covid situation and you are having a go at me? So fed up with the crap on this page, I'm done with it! Goodbye! |
 | News Comment | Town Return to Action Against Second-Bottom Swindon at 16:55:39
@ TractorFrog. I'd prefer to finish the season and let the football do the talking, and may the best team win. If we can't get up there after 46 games we don't deserve to be. Sad fans want to cut the season just to get a chance of promotion rather than on health grounds! Aside from that, if PPG was applied now, Accrington would be champions! |
 | News Comment | Fleetwood Game in Doubt as Positive Covid Tests Now 11 at 17:06:58
Okay, let's assume all sniffles and coughs are Covid. Now there is no more football until Spring at the earliest. So, may as well just cancel another season. Then we can start again in August. Then next winter the same scenario will play out again. I prefer to assume a cold is a cold, and the flu is the flu, unless a test says otherwise. Because by your logic life, and everything in it, is pretty much over. Anyway, I'm done with this, goodbye! |
 | News Comment | Fleetwood Game in Doubt as Positive Covid Tests Now 11 at 12:28:04
@ blueinblue Having a negative Covid test but having symptoms means that person has a cold or the flu, since the symptoms of Covid are "flu-like". I don't have to be a scientist to understand logic. So, I don't think I am an "idiot that has got this country in this state", thanks! In fact, your comment is far more idiotic. |
 | News Comment | Blues to Receive £2.7m From Premier League Bailout - Report at 18:50:52
This is great news for the smaller clubs who are in danger of folding. Banks take taxpayers money then get bailed out with taxpayers money when greedy, criminal banksters decide to commit fraud, so finally nice to see some money going into the community. Football clubs get booted out of the league when they get into financial trouble but banksters get promoted. It's such a breath of fresh air during these weird times we find ourselves in. So, what does this have to do with banking? Absolutely nothing, I just felt like having a rant. Have a great Xmas everyone! :-) |
 | News Comment | Back to Basics for Blues Against Bottom Club Burton at 13:11:57
....but we appear to have a manager that doesn't know the basics, so how's this going to work? We should beat Burton even without a game plan, so this evening will be very interesting. |

A BIG factor is the personality of the manager, and how they can instil a positive vibe into the club and players. Klopp, for example, would make me want to play to the best of my abilities. Lambert just makes me want to fall asleep. |

By the way, I think it's obvious where the problem has been since ME took over, and that's appalling manager appointments. Keane and Hurst especially spring to mind. If we'd have had decent mangers we wouldn't be in this mess, plain and simple. Investment in good players is actually a waste of money if the manager is no good. Forking out more to bring in an excellent manger would be the best financial decision ever made by ME, and profit would then be made through success. It's actually a pretty simple business model. |

After all that, the Portsmouth game on Saturday will be THE defining moment of our season. Lose, and we are going nowhere because we can't beat the teams around us. Win, and the manager might get one last chance to prove himself. If it turns out to be the former then it will be the same story as last season, and that would only be described as 'stagnation'.... but on a general downward slide. |
 | News Comment | Fans Return as Blues Visit Plymouth at 20:29:45
Plymouth have lost three in a row and were beaten 0-4 at home last time out. I'm sorry but this is a dead cert home win and we're going to get hammered tomorrow. Not being negative, I just can't see any other result. |
 | News Comment | Blues Among Clubs Linked With Eastleigh Striker at 17:18:31
It just goes to show the level of football the club is aspiring to reach. PH started this and made a League One team out of a Championship team. Now PL wants to make a National League team out of a League One team. |
 | News Comment | Lambert: The Negativity Attached to the Club is Huge at 14:12:14
Yes Paul. They are young kids trying to play football. The problem is, you're not teaching them how to play football. Stop blaming the fans or the media. The fact is even with our strikers fit we have little attacking threat, and that can only be down to the style of play and the buck stops with the manager. You've now lost most of the fans and likely some of the players. |
