| News Comment | Ipswich Town 6-0 Exeter City - Match Report at 17:11:11
Woohoo! Blew them away, another high-scoring home result. I want to say a BIG Thank you to the gentlemen of Gamechanger, who have done exactly what they had promised. It feels like this is just the beginning of a new era. Bring on next season and a long overdue local derby. Well done to Plymouth as well, they've been amazing and also deserve promotion, but let's hope they lose or draw next week and we claim the League One title :-) |

Gutted these games can't be available on iFollow when all match tickets have been sold, but rules are rules. I'm nervous, but only 1% in comparison with the Barnsley game! I'm sure we'll win today, so it's just a case of waiting for the final whistle. 23 years since I last witnessed this - the trip to Wembley was one of the best days of my life. The good times are back! I hope the team don't think this is over after today - there's still a league title to play for. |
| News Comment | McKenna: Barnsley Will Go at Us With Everything at 10:57:21
I'm already pacing up and down, sweating, and nervous as hell! And still nine hours until kick off! I'm thinking of taking the club to court - I've had at least five years taken off my life through the stress of supporting this team for over four decades! :-) I used to think people who didn't follow football were nuts. Now I realise they've made the right decision! I might go and cut the lawn with a pair of scissors to help pass the time. |

Wow! Well done Chaplin, a long overdue and well deserved hattrick. Now we have to keep our heads and beat Port Vale next. The top three pack keeps shuffling around, it's still going down to the last two games! What an exciting end to the league. We could be playing Everton next season! |

I watched the Cheltenham match and I have no complaints about it. The other option I have is to miss the match, so I am very happy the service is available. |
| News Comment | Town Visit Cheltenham Targeting Record Ninth Win at 21:09:25
This will be a tougher fixture than Wycombe and Derby. Fingers crossed. With Peterborough (in top form right now) and Barnsley still to come, my nerves are starting to shred! But, after saying that, I'm starting to feel we are going to finish in the top two. |
| News Comment | Town Announce £12.6m Loss at 15:59:13
I don't understand any of that! Never been good with financial figures, it's an alien language! We've made a loss, that's all I can understand, so I guess it's even more imperative we go up this season. |
| News Comment | Derby County 0-2 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 17:49:36
Just WOW! I remember the TWTD poll which asked if KM was the right man for the job and I said NO! Swallowing my opinions now! Eight games without conceding a goal is incredible, along with the seven straight wins. Wednesday gained only three points from a possible 15. I really thought we'd blown it a few weeks ago, now look! I'm looking behind rather than the top two - we've got to stay ahead of Barnsley on GD before we play them away. Wouldn't be surprised if we go up with Barnsley, actually. I'd hate to be an Owls fan right now! |
| News Comment | Ashton Open to Debate on UEFA Article 48 at 21:41:47
I wonder if I'll be able to watch from Bangalore? Thankfully Town games never clash with the home games at Bengaluru F.C., which cost me about £6.00 entrance per match! |
| News Comment | Page: Broady Was in Tears at the End at 10:00:06
@ ArnieM Why are you abusing the Welsh manager? Didn't you read what he said - he's been watching his development for seven years and waiting to get him involved. Broadhead is only 24 years old. He isn't a Bale or a Kane. He has needed time to develop. |
| News Comment | Ashton: Away Fans to Remain in Cobbold Stand Next Season But Discussions Ongoing at 14:49:50
It's definitely a financial issue when the away support is in the lower hundreds, as with some L1 and L2 teams. However, looking forward to the Championship, the away end would be full or almost full so yes, where do they go safely? If you are going to use either stands behind the goal, you need to use upper and lower tiers with netting segregating fans. It's not an ideal solution. Lower or upper-only tiers cause many issues. I've been spat on many times from home fans in the above tier, so it's not a safe option in my eyes. It's one flaw with PR - Ashton is correct - it's not away fan friendly, so where they are now is the best place, at the moment a least. A dilemma I cannot see being resolved easily. One option would be to do a Wolves - put them along the entire bottom tier of the Cobbold, but are there enough seats? |
| News Comment | TWTD League Calculator 2022/23 at 17:02:33
The only hope we have is when one looks at Plymouth's away form - W7 D7 L5 - which is where they tend to slip up. They have tricky away games at the Shrews and a local derby. They have also conceded 9 goals in their last 3 away games. Their home form is phenomenal. However, we still have to play Barnsley, Peterborough, Wycombe, and Derby, and unless we get at least 10 points from those games it's going to be the play offs. We screwed up not long ago when our form was W1 D6 L1 out of 8 matches. |
| News Comment | Plymouth Back On Top as Pilgrims and Barnsley Win at 11:07:16
Can't see Plymouth or Wednesday dropping enough points in the run-in, unfortunately. If they do, it will be a miracle. Imagine a Town v Barnsley play off final? I was 23 years younger the last time I was at Wembley! |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 2-0 Shrewsbury Town - Match Report at 20:39:10
We are looking very good but, on paper, we have the most difficult fixtures of the top four. Unfortunately, automatic promotion is not dependent on our form, but on others slipping up. |
| News Comment | Burnley 2-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 00:26:23
Very, VERY proud we've taken the best team in the EFL - by a long way - right to the brink over two matches. Now we need to take that forward, starting with the match on Saturday. Wednesday haven't conceded a goal in a long time and are just a winning machine. Can't see them stopping at the moment. There may have been a few season defining moments already, but I feel Saturday's result will be the definitive answer to how our season will end - Beat SW and I think we'll get past Plymouth. Drop points and it's the play offs. That's my opinion anyway. |
