Edit...my gardener friend however says that he is 'lucky' enough to have plenty of well established hedges to cut (it does reduce transpiration too I suppose) and the recent hay cut on the small estate he spends a lot of time at means plenty of tidying up strimming to do too. Weather models seem to be firming up on 7 to 10 days of temperatures in excess of 30 degrees from around next Thursday and barely any rain before that.
