Clarke has been atrocious so far
at 21:05 13 Jan 2024

I'm not a fan of Clarke and thought he had a poor first half. Credit where credit is due though, as he was great second half.

If he had stayed on until the end, there could have even been a argument for him being MOTM, Great debut.

Sorry for the down vote on the op, fat fingers!

Too slow.
at 17:16 1 Jan 2024

Today felt like Bristol Rovers away in Feb last year. Players holding onto the ball for too long, passing looks laboured with no intensity to our play. Have noticed recently that we aren't getting shots away quickly enough either, Broadhead being the prime example of that.

Need to make the most of these next two weeks before Sunderland, although I have a horrible feeling that our winless run will extend another two games.

Hopefully recruit a couple of players to freshen things up, and we can go on a run like after Rovers last year.

Let’s not have any catastrophising
at 22:28 7 Nov 2023

We have certainly looked below par since the international break, but it is worth noting that 3 of those 4 have been away, and we haven't lost any of them. Massively frustrating tonight, but if we win on Saturday it is still a decent points haul from the last 5 games.

Voice only just returning after singing myself horse last night

Maybe it is as I'm not a member, so don't get tickets near the hardcore singers! Same thing happened at Shrewsbury last year.

Glad you got to enjoy a better atmosphere over that side.

I'm not sure if it was just where I was stood (over to the left as you are looking at the pitch) but thought the atmosphere was really flat last night.

Travelled from Wiltshire yesterday, took the best part of 6 hours, as there was an accident on the M25 and the A12 was also shut.

Still worth it to watch us play at the moment though!

Hard to criticise the manager when he has been vindicated on tactics
at 00:01 12 Jul 2021

Although it is hard to criticise Southgate, seeing as he got us to the final, it was the same failings that saw us lose the semi in 2018. We tried to sit back on a lead and got overan in midfield, yet changed nothing until it was too late. Italy were there for the taking, especially in the first half, we should have been braver, and we would have won in in normal time.

Another Culverhouse Situation
at 19:58 13 Apr 2021

Either way the players are playing themselves out of being here next season. Fortunately a lot of the useless shytes are out of contract, so we won't have to suffer watching them run around a lot next season.

I'm hoping it is more a case of the players have just completely downed tools, and are simply not trying. So whatever Cook has done, or will do, won't make any difference this season.

Got my vaccine next week...
at 10:32 28 Feb 2021

I had mine yesterday morning. I was told over the phone when booking my appointment, that I was having the Pfizer. So far I have a bit of a sore arm and a mild headache. I was surprised I had mine so soon, as I am nearly 38, but do have asthma.

I have never lived in Ipswich, but when we use to visit grandparents/family, I seem to remember going there every time, and spent what felt like hours on end waiting for my old man to get measured for a suit. I even got my first suit from there at 18.

I hope that they don't have to close due to the current climate. As strangely it has a big connection for me to Ipswich, probably second only to the football club. Although that may slowly be changing with what is happening to the club at the moment!

I didn't realise there was a third company! So there are Green, Green Energy and Green Network Energy.

For the avoidance doubt only Green Network Energy have gone into admin.
