Bring him home......
at 23:04 30 Jul 2025

Luke was a very good player IMO, loved him for that proper head butt at Cambridge pre-season. Then early in the new season when an opponent tried to wind him up, he just laughed in his face. Brilliant guy.

Ghost in the Wires by Kevin Mitnick, from phone phreaker to computer hacker to FBI most wanted. It is his own true, amazing story about how he was hunted and how for a considerable time kept one step ahead of the FBI and even monitored them trying to find him! Start reading it and you will very soon struggle to put the book down.

Everton sell their women's team

What's to stop them paying the coaching staff through the women's budget but using them in the men's team sessions? All sorts of things could be channelled in this way to help conform with PSR.

Hutchinson on bench...

My take is that until an offer is accepted he remains an Ipswich player and will continue as usual on the training and playing routine to return to full fitness.

Everton sell their women's team
at 17:28 29 Jul 2025

to their parent club, I would have thought this PSR fiddle would have shut down by now. Makes PSR a complete joke.

I presume the next step will be to sell their old ground to the parent company as well, as that is the home of the women's team.

There also some very good fake websites so you can "check your vehicle status" which will obviously show you need to pay as well.

Yes, myself and Basuco the younger, staying at the city centre Premier Inn, long old way for a friendly, 8 hour 40 minutes and 538 miles. I am undecided to go A1 or M6, M74 at the moment.

Review of Water Industry
at 15:57 20 Jul 2025

The telecoms/broadband industry has been hit hard by privatisation, the copper network is in a very poor state due to lack of maintenance and under investment for many, many years, while the fibre roll out is very slow and expensive. If BT had not been privatised the fibre roll out to the entire UK would have been completed 43 years ago at a fraction of the cost. We now have the ridiculous situation where some areas have 3 different fibre broadband providers to choose from, all vastly over priced and many areas have no fibre option.

This CEO scandal

She joined the company in November 2024, was the affair with the CEO one of the reasons she was given the job? Or did they only meet after she started the role?

is bbc weather of any credibility nowadays?
at 13:10 19 Jul 2025

The BBC had a discount using the Met office but the last government increased the price by a huge amount, BBC said OK we will go elsewhere. The Met office would have been the more accurate option but the price was way too expensive.
