Bazza8564 is spot on. If true this would be a fantastic appoitment. Yes there is a risk but what have we got to lose? An excellent no nonsense coach highly thought of who wants now to make his mark/way into management who will undoubtedly be supported by our owners in January? Potentially keeps our season alive - will bring on some of our academy players as well? Some of the old pro 's knowing its time to step up or be shipped out and let's be honest after last night we probably thought that applies to all of them - Walton exempt In place on Saturday - 28,000 ex Sunderland supporters cheering the team on I say bring it on |

Awful. No desire, passion, commitment. I don't expect to see some of those players play in an Ipswich shirt again - Fraser, carroll, jackson. Respect to those who travelled |

Utterly depressing. Completely toothless. Mind boggling team selection and substitutions. No Plan B let alone Plan A No forward thinking or passes. No teamwork, passion or desire. Big decisions for Evans to make -supporters have had enough and to have any real hope to get season ticket sales for next season Lambert has got to go and we have to build and stick to a rock hard physical mobile team - that's what Rotherham, Oxford, Peterborough, Fleetwood all have - But has Evans the balls to do that? For such a successful businessman he has made so many bad football decisions Give the supporters hope Mr Evans |
| News Comment | Lambert: Everybody at the Club is Suffering at 07:44:56
Spot on BildestonBlue I to heard the Barton interview and I just wished I was hearing that from an ITFC manager. Lambert is to easily out thought, just doesn't know and or indeed have the ability to change things. We are all football managers with differing views but its been blatantly obvious now to everyone (except 88 from last night) that he has lost it and doesn't know how to fix it and if Evans cannot see that and the further damage Lambert could do before the season is out then he really does not have the heart and best intentions for our once proud but currently laughable Club. |

I am so angry I could not believe the team selection for a "must win" game Lambert really has lost the plot and tonight I could see he has lost the players as well Felt sorry for McGavin - and why no game time for Dobra? All very poor Dozzell apart Where do we go from here? Well we are going nowhere with Lambert but will Evans do anything? Love to see the terms of the 5 year contract For someone who is a successful business man he has made so many poor football decisions And as for Evans he probably does want to exit and has probably tried but we don't have the assets? So depressing We supporters deserve better |

Congratulations to all the players and coaching staff for serving up a most entertaining game. Some of the play at times was a joy to watch. |

Lets be honest the root cause of our woe's is Marcus Evans. He doesn't have the money or the interest to invest further in our beloved Club. McCarthy should have gone a long time ago but he was doing a job on limited/no money. The problem with McCarthy is McCarthy - he wont change - and as others have said his tactics are just insane Of last night - well it was a horrible mausoleum and you could see the scare factor in the players. Yes they tried, and others may disagree with me, it showed that a number of them are just not good enough at this level or even Division 2 (Scotland) for Hyam. Yes he has come back from a serious injury and I wish him well but the bite he had is missing and to be frank he doesn't have a pass or left leg in him. Going forward - right now get Fisons in whoever to sort the pitch out. My wife who has green fingers (not literally) could probably do a better job. Stop press with the Printers announcing that Mick McCarthy is going at the end of this season -thank him blah blah - and advise the supporters that the Club is actively looking for a new team manager/management team ahead of next season. That's the only way right now that the Club will passive the rightly angry supporters who have been so patient for so long and deserve so much better. |

Martin587 I think you have summed it all up. I fear for us this season. Yesterday was probably one if not the worse 90 minutes I have to endure. Whatever he may now say he has lost the players and word is some want to get away. Anyway let's hope for a better 2017 for us and indeed around the world. |
