First off what a great servant to the club over the years especially that late 90’s set of players who came through, Dyer, Scowie, Wright, Bramble etc. but at 64 maybe the time is right to move on we haven’t really brought anyone through since then (albeit penny pinching and not getting cat 1 status under Evans tenure) the games moved on a lot since then as well.
Regarding people commenting on every single bloody post about ‘new players this, new players that’ if you actually follow the club will know they’ve more than likely got loads of enquiries etc out there and waiting to hear back from these. One thing the club doesn’t do under Ashton is drag its feet when it comes to getting people in. Let them do the frikin job without the same old people banging on every post. Guiu is a perfect example of he’s one of them Chelsea have already said no decision will be made until they’re back from the fifa club cup. It’s not FIFA. Same people last 3 seasons moaning about the same old stuff that were very quiet whilst Evans was putting the club back 20 years!! |

We all enjoyed the days during the league one and champ season when you were very quiet you only come out the woodwork if someone leaves or we lose it’s embarrassing and kind of laughable. It was the players reps who said this was their players request as didn’t want to be priced out of a move to the prem if relegation happened so go blame Delap or his rep.
