What’s negative? We make 12 million at least after paying Man City in one year. There’s no guarantee he will improve either. His agent would’ve put a realistic ceiling for us to secure a transfer in the first place in case we went down if we hadn’t agreed to that we wouldn’t be sitting here with a 12 million pound profit would we? Not sure why people can’t see that. Again simple math we only owe city 20% of the profit not the WHOLE 40 mill fee

Lee James you don’t need to explain the buy back clauses I fully understand but what you’re saying is incorrect. Let’s make this easy to understand. If a club comes in for 50 million bid they (city) have to match it. If city do and we was to sell they don’t just get 10 million from a 50 mill fee its 20% of PROFIT MADE. So if we brought him for 20 mill say that’s 30 mill profit and they get 20% of that which is 6 millions so not sure where your 10 million comes from it’s simple math. We then make24 mill in one season.
On another note if he’s sniffing around the full England squad that puts more money on his price tag. If he’s given assurances that he can still be around the squad he may be best to give it a season and if we don’t go up he gets his move who knows it’s all speculation right now.

People were moaning on here that Phillips was an absolute waste of wages a couple of months ago whilst morsy was doing well now he’s the messiah and Morsys sh!te. You couldn’t make it up on here sometimes. Absolute whoppers some of the posters on here. Morsy has been THE most outstanding captain we have had at Portman road since Matt Holland so we’re talking over 20 odd years people have very short memories on here.
There’s more than just Muric and morsy that have made mistakes this season that have cost us including Leif AND Walton but no one mentions that just Muric and now Morsy. He’s knocking on 34 this year and should we stay up we will need to look at an all action box to box player that’s a given as we have to love on but to single Morsy out is ridiculous.

Totally proud of all the boys today from back to front against a champions league team through to the next stages with ease.
Should we stay up it will be against some real adversity with some of the refereeing decisions really costing us a lot of points and again today how Tuanzebe got a yellow for the first challenge when he won the ball whilst McGinn must’ve made 5 fouls before then and absolutely nothing. Seen this all season starting from the first game against Liverpool.
Well done boys onto spurs with that bit of confidence ALL OVER the pitch don’t think you could change any player for the next game Phillips and Townsend surely deserve to keep their place and Palmer take a bow.

Linkboy you’re talking rubbish plans are already in place to upgrade to category one youth set up which Evan’s should’ve done way back when he had the chance. Obviously the initial project isn’t get the first team up and running and bringing in young players like we have and improving them will only help to attract the kids as well. Not sure what people were moaning about before kick off we need everyone to be match sharp and match fit for the run in for the league which they DONT get sitting on the bench. Do you guys want another prem season or to get another round or two in the cup we won’t be winning??? I love the FA Cup but the money is in the premier league unfortunately and that’s our priority if we want to get stronger and better.
Szmodics injury is another reason you change the team imagine if that was Delap everyone would be moaning about him being risked in the cup!
We need everyone competing for places and now Clarke and some others have given McKenna a huge headache in a good way.
The gulf between the premier league and championship is bigger than it ever has been bigger than when Brighton and Brentford were promoted and the gulf between league one and the prem is even bigger which is really what we’ve done and explains so many incomings this season but it doesn’t happen overnight or in two transfer windows. We were struggling to get past Coventry last season home and away and have just beaten them easily with a ‘second string’ team.
