Burns and Broadhead Miss Out at Plymouth But Chaplin Should Play a Part
at 15:02:29

Big blow as both are finding some really form past few games however Sarmiento and Hutchinson have been brilliant and Plymouth who always seem to raise their game against us won’t be used to these two going at them. COYB’s

European Clubs 'Monitoring' Hutchinson
at 10:00:35

Of course they are this lad is a real talent and personally feel he has improved massively since his first couple of games working with McKenna and the coach’s. I also think McKenna has used him well regarding game time hence why he is getting better and fitter as the season goes on. I’d love to get him permanently but don’t think that will happen unless we go up as I think he’ll be playing in a top division somewhere next season here or abroad.

McKenna: Officials Apologised For First Two Preston Goals
at 11:35:57

Anyone could see the clear foul and the offside wasn’t even close and unfortunately both goals killed that first half for us. I can’t believe people moan about VAR in the prem they should try putting up with the officiating in league one and the championship.

McKenna: My Full Focus and Commitment is On Town
at 11:31:09

Hoping it won’t happen as we are a bigger club bigger capacity and pack that capacity out and if we go up it’s a dead cert it won’t happen.
However as much as I can’t see it happening before the end of the season should we not go up and palace wait till the summer it will depend on what support and financial backing he feels he may get to have another go next year. Rarely do the bookies get it wrong especially when that team or manager tops their respective odds. Don’t forget the bookies had us as joint second faves with Leeds and saints and Leicester dead certs and that’s come true most the season. If we don’t go up McKenna has a great bargaining tool to get backing and support from the owners but as we all know ffp is still the sticking point.

Happy with this! Experience at this level, scored goals at this level and already knows how burns and Broadhead play from wales what’s not to love.
Hoping this will stop the negative ninny’s on here bashing Ashton for some promises they reckon he said about bringing in Messi or whoever they thought

Town Linked With Former German U21 International

Portmanterrorist it’s not championship manager on your PC. Fact is spending is at a massive low compared to other years in the prem unless they buy players they won’t release any meaning the kind of players you want won’t filter down it’s plain and simple even my 8 year old nephew understands that yet a minority on here don’t. There have been NO broken promises made anyway just that we will compete and we have been. No one even in the championship is buying anyone significant even the big three who came down so chill out ffs

Desperate someone said?? I mean I’ve never heard of him but people
Moan we don’t look abroad then when we do moan it’s desperate. This guy has a goal and an assist this season in the champions league which is a cut above our current level so can it be that desperate??

Excellent young and hungry with room to improve.
On another note Gallagher scored tonight and made two assists for Blackburn.

Town Edge Closer to Al-Hamadi Signing
at 14:09:01

The normal suspects writing the guy off before he’s even kicked a ball for us as per on here! It’s always a risk getting someone from a lower league but it’s worked for plenty of clubs as well. Those who say the same old sh@te of ‘we need a proven goal scorer’ are still playing championship manager or FIFA clearly because Bolton quoted 8 million for their striker and that’s a league one ‘proven scorer’ level so where are these proven scorers coming from? How much and within our ffp budget?? Stop playing FIFA and get back to reality ffs

Young Duo Could Go Out On Loan
at 16:00:48

Monkey_blue comparing Taylor and humphries is mental they are completely different players?? Ones realistically a number 10 the others a creative midfielder? Taylor should be back up to Chaplin it’s what he was originally brought and the position he played for Peterborough in. As good as humphries was last season in league one he clearly hasn’t shown enough for the championship SO FAR but like everyone hoping he does in the future he clearly has the talent but he has to be better than what we already have and he won’t dislodge Luongo or Mass at the moment

Town Targeting Wimbledon Striker Al-Hamadi
at 15:46:26

As someone has already said Vardy was signed from Fleetwood it’s always a risk signing someone from a lower league but he’s young and has the same style as Hirst by the looks of it.

Regarding some on here being disappointed by lack of signings etc please tell me what significant signings have been made so far anywhere even the premier leagues clubs are struggling getting people in and until clubs sign players they won’t release anyone either so not many will be coming down from a higher league. Please be real people it’s not just us struggling to get people in!!!

Leicester City 1-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 23:56:33

Deserved point for that second half. On another night if we had made some better decisions a couple of times when attacking twice with burns free on the right in their box we could’ve snuck a win. I do think a draw was fair they had the better first half where we stood off way to much we had the better second. Great changes and subs again by McKenna proud of the resilience of this side and his post match interview so honest and always looking for improvements. Even Warnock said he loves listening to him

McKenna: A Great Marker For Us
at 00:47:47

Chepstowblue you seem to forget as much as they are losing players so are we. In fact our backbone of the side our first choice two central influential midfielders, centre half and striker. Not many sides would manage losing all 4. I personally said before the home game we may suit playing them away more than at home as that’s where they lost all there games before the Coventry game. I’m another that thinks this game away could be great for Jackson on a high after a great finish against Sunderland and hassling their back line all game. COYB’s

Charlton Hoping to Complete Ladapo Signing Today
at 10:48:02

Good luck to him he was brilliant for us last year scoring 20 plus goals and definitely goes with much love and thanks for that.
On another note I think it shows that just because you’re scoring goals in league one doesn’t mean you can do it further up so buying players from lower leagues can be a gamble.

Town Targeting Owls Winger Johnson
at 13:09:57

Can people just understand this is as cover and would be a temporary measure to get us over the line. Should we go up we would be attracting better for sure but the emphasis during the abysmal January transfer window is to get cover and buy players to get us over the line any long term signings are always in the summer. January as anyone with half a brain of football knowledge and has been watching much bigger clubs than us fail to get original targets or targets you would expect. Unfortunately as McKenna and Ashton have said all along and even the likes of ten Haag, Arteta even pep have said for many years the January window is extremely tough to bring in what you need and/or want
