The plan is the Prem & be ready for it....not the Campionship, average attendance assuming we are holding our own 40,000 no problem...don't forget larger away fan numbers, it wasn't the Pioneer that done us it was Sir Bobby going .......,2000, it was the north stand finance that done us it was the recruitement & loss of Marcus up front, plus Sheepshanks didn't put money in the club he only took it out. The Plan is to increase to fullfill our potential......they know what they are doing. |

Don't think there is any concern that he could be tempted elsewhere, If we don't go up he will still want to prove himself, if we are successful in returning to the top flight again & our crowds return to in-excess of 30000, new ground etc. Then I'm sure financially he wont need to leave us & it would be a bigger feather in his cap if he can return us to competing with the bigger clubs once more. |

Don't agree with people saying sun in Waltons eyes.....Harris had no trouble seeing the ball! Inspite of his height, challanging for high balls is Waltons weakness, just doesn't challenge forwards strongly enough. This time could have attempted to punch instead he just conceeds the ball to the forward & spreads his hands 3ft either side of the ball. Other than that excellent performance considering the amount of fouls by the posh that the ref continually let go. |

Think one of the reasons Ladapo is getting better results is the service from Humpreys, two excellent early balls forward to him highlighted & both moves ending up with two good efforts on target from the pair ......If he stays fit Humphreys should be nailed on to start with his captain every game. |

Woeful last week first half, same again this week, spent first twenty minutes passing in circles on the right between 5 players going nowhere,.......& not a single effort on goal. Lucky we haven't lost more games with the tactic of relying on finishing stronger...27,000 at home we should be coming out of the blocks with some urgency not pinning our hopes on a strong finish. |

chepstowblue, your way off the mark, with a team in the top flight we would need a capacity in excess of 30,000, as under Sir Bobby we had lock outs on 36000, Under George Burley we had a reduced capacity down to 30000 which resulted in lock outs. The population in this part of the world has grown considerably since then & Mark Ashton & Co are well aware of this & the potential to fill a bigger stadium....If we are good enough to get back up there .....they will come. |

Can't understand people worrying about KM going else where!
As they say, if he is successful he will be in the top flight with a team & club he has got there with owners he can trust, it will all be down to him not because of a rich owner buying the best players at a club already at the table.
If he is the man he appears to be he would get much more satisfaction taking us back to the table & have us compeating with the heavy weights again. |

If we didn't have Leigh I would be happy with Davis, but would feel much safer with Leigh starting as their early chance could of seen us one nil down, as Davis left the number16 unmarked even though he ran across infront of him pointing.(it's not the first time) it is nice that we are always finishing stronger now but still think it's a risky game not starting with your best/strongest eleven, as we ofton ride our luck in the early parts of games but when we do get an early goal the game opens up & we look good who ever comes on. |
