Used to go to the same school, he was a couple of years below me. Some of his friends he is referring to are also lads I grew up and played football with. Nice fellow despite him supporting the budgies but then again myself and a few others were the odd ones out in deepest carrot country. |

Like ones before at carrot road if you manage to get a group of about 10-15 you can get the group booking for £5 adults and kids for a £1 its more aimed at local youth football but its not an absolute requirement which is very good value for money. Hope this helps!!! |

Well done PJ this boy and a few others kept you in this job and all you can do is reward him with another year and so this time next season we will be in the same situation again IMO was worth at LEAST 2 maybe 3 years on top of his remaining contract.
Happy that he has signed but far from happy over the length of his contract considering how much jewell has wasted on some duffers that are now no longer with us !!!!! |

I'm confused but where did ITFC1981 slag off Clegg, he just pointed out that the statement clegg made put a rosier picture on signings then what has actually happened. It's funny how some people seem to have rose tinted glasses on when the chief ex speaks!!!.
Also the players mentioned that did not sign are just the ones we know about and I bet there are at least 10 more that we don't know about. And to say that we think they wake one morning and say lets go and sign a centre back smacks of arrogance.
People only see what they want to see even if they are right or wrong and at the very least we must respect everyones opinion but apart from that COYB and looking forward to the new season!!!! |

He has done really well , the fact that drury was all set to leave in the jan transfer window had it not been for Crawley backtracking on the agreed deal and Hyam was only given a run when PJs hand was forced due to injuries along with the signings of ingi, Ellington or replacing the cbs or getting an experienced rb and bad tactics, spouting his gob off even more than ever how can he still be the right man for the job.

This manager is brillant at playing the ole chestnut hindsight,
“I think this year I've been guilty of not planning enough by signing too many experienced players. Experienced players are important but getting the blend is vital and I've got the blend wrong this year.
“I will take full responsibility for that but life's about learning from your mistakes. I've made a few mistakes.”
You have made more than a few mistakes and to be honest anyone on here with a John Gorman type of assistant could of done a better job than you!!!
Marcus Evans has invested a lot of money but not on the right sort of players,
With that the problem seems to lie with the chief exec we have had the right players in the door for them to then sign for someone else add to that to the different styles in management then of course we keep going forwards and backwards. Sort out a plan and stick to it not change it every time it starts to not work.
Can see jewell doing nothing more here than already done and will see another change come next chrIstmas. |

Oppo players used to hate how he nicked the ball from their very feet without the need for a tackle, my favourite player growing up !!! I even had his skills ball which was puncture proof when a little lad, the ball was a bit like what a futbol de salao ball is. Absolute LEGEND!!!!! |
