| Forum Thread | Watching Saturday's game from overseas at 14:08 1 May 2024
I'm going to be in France for the Huddersfield game and am starting to get concerned I'm not going to be able to watch. I was banking on signing up for Town TV from abroad and watching through that but am I right in thinking that now it's on Sky it won't be on Town TV? I thought about using a UK VPN and watching on Sky Go on my phone but it doesn't seem to work when connected to any VPN. Any ideas? Would rather go legit than a dodgy stream site but I'm starting to think I don't have much choice. |

Well no because I don't even think "theyve" come for any one. Getting kicked out of a pub for saying things the ladlord doesn't like isn't beind silenced and neither is this situation. |

How are they being silenced? That's a bit over the top. They're still free to flood the airways with dogwhistle rhetoric, just not at that particular conference in Brussells. Keep cluching those pearls! |

By that logic it was facist and dictatorial to ban National Action. There is a fine line between xenophobia and racism. One that Nigel and his ilk trample all over. Shock horror people don't want a gathering of racists. |

Quite liked this from CityBlue a while back: When the ball's at his feet His first touch is so sweet That's Omari As he runs down the wing You will hear the fans sing That's Omari When the ball's in the net You will never forget That's Omari!!! BlueSpark the other day: He twists and he turns, he comes on for Wes Burns, That's Omari so many possibilities I'm surpised it's not taken off |

Always this time of year for me and all gone by May. This year has been the worst I can remember. |

Wouldn't a more sensible outcome be that no new racehorses could be registered or bred, so there wouldn't be an issue with a load of race horses and the owners would do whatever they do with the old horses now (lasagne, glue, France, who knows). It's not complicated |

If you're hellbent on watching animals race I've got plenty of snails in the backgarden, happy to line them up and stream it for you. Although with the slow speed, little risk to their lives and no one to whip them it might not be quite as enthralling. |

What is this nonsense? It's not cruel to end a career of a race horse that isn't racing yet, and it's not even cruel to end the career of a race horse who is racing. It'll still live and be ridden (albeit not for money) That's the same BS argument of "well you shouldn't go vegan cause what about the cows in the fields, they'd all die" |

I think that's council dependent. I have been putting them in with my cardboard for years at the request of my council. They aren't recyclable or your council doesn't recycle them are two different issues |

What's your source on this? As far as I was aware they've been recyclable for years |

The state of this thread/country/world blows my mind. How can you be more annoyed about disruption to sporting events then a government paid off by the oil industry refusing to even roadmap the changes we need? We are fooked as a country/planet/species. Head in the sand and carry on as usual. I like the idea about protesting outside oil refineries and company headquarters. Genius, I bet that's never been tried before, it'll be sure to have a huge impact... oh wait they've been doing it for years and nobody cares. Would we be in this situation if the gov/donors/lobbyist didn't have skin in the oil game? |

The amount of times morsy got a pass from an inwards running Burns to only then recycle the ball to a cb was monotonous. He doesn't seem able to recieve and play a through ball to unlock the runner into the box so they stop. Plenty of times in the first half Ladapo had his back to goal and wanted the ball to his feet but Morsey decided not to. Once in the second half he tries a chipped ball over the top into the box and it becomes a threat, he's got it in him but he's far too cautious. |
