I don't know about the linesman, but I thought the ref was as good as we've seen at Portman Road for quite a while. He wasn't going to be fooled by players feigning injury. On several occasions he didn't allow a physio onto the pitch to treat players claiming to be injured and every time they eventually carried on with no I'll effects. The added on time both halves reflected this. A breath of fresh air. |

Can't help feeling that Chambers has not been moved on as he has an annexe in his garden that accommodates a bunch of the younger players, very useful for the club. Tommy is 4 years younger and has always been the better player.

Other than Wolfie, Tommy would be the best central defender at the club so pair the two together. Can't imagine Chambers ever making it to a World Cup, remember Tommy went through the whole tournament unbeaten - and that included a match against Italy. |
