https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/jun/13/spurs-hold-talks-over-signing-b "Brentford are expected to target an external candidate to replace Frank despite holding talks with Keith Andrews about stepping up from his role as set-piece coach. The former Republic of Ireland midfielder has emerged as a potential candidate for the manager’s post. He joined Brentford last summer and is highly regarded at the club but it is understood he is unlikely to be given his first senior role in management there. Brentford’s owner, Matthew Benham, is believed to have considered promoting Justin Cochrane from his role as Frank’s assistant until the 43-year-old former midfielder, who is part of Thomas Tuchel’s England staff, opted to join Tottenham instead. Ipswich’s Kieran McKenna and the former Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic are among those being considered to take over instead." |

Guardian reporting that Andrews considered but now Brentford keen on an external candidate. Looks like the Bees are as watertight as ITFC when it comes to "in the know" and most people are just guessing... |

Matt Clarke playing too. Can there be many games this weekend with 4 ex town players on the pitch? |

Delap and Phillips both in Woodbridge. Pretty sure Morsy is in one of the little villages just outside it too. |

In the article on the main page, Phil stated he was once interviewed for the Town post. When was this? When we appointed Mckenna? Or long before? |

Think it’ll be Burns at home then a defender away in that position. At least until Godfrey up to speed |

Felt the need to add to this, I've been in schools 20+ years, most of them in Suffolk. Now in a Senior role and still enjoy every day. Find the right school, where the priorities are the students and supporting staff. It's a great job, other posters are right, it is intense, but it comes with real reward and 13 weeks holiday isnt a bad thing either! |
