Mick will turn him into the finished article. Superb signing from Cardiff, Will be playing in the premier league within 2 years. |
| News Comment | Pompey Keeper MacGillivray Linked Again at 13:18:08
Holy is simply not good enough, i know cornell made a mistake in the back end of the season, but he is good enough. Very good with his feet. Holy is the worst i've seen in 24 years, and yes i'm including ALB, Marshall and Alexander |
| News Comment | Defoe Linked But Deal Unlikely at 13:55:24
hes on 30k a week. during a rebuild its not advisable to sign 38 yerar olds, gives off the wrong impression |
| News Comment | Cambridge Eyeing Bishop at 11:36:34
He's been blighted with injury for years, not soo much this year but he still doesn't stand out, and had his best season 6-7 years ago which is scary Similar to Dozzell i feel they would both play better in a better footballing side. (maybe that will be us this year) |
| News Comment | Skuse's Colchester Move Confirmed at 16:33:59
you couldnt really say he has declined, as this year was mainly injured and last season he was as consistent as always. A super signing in league 2. They are putting good squad together for next that could have quite a few players from Micks time here ! Nouble, Smith and Gerken already there. Plus Skuse. Potentially Sears and Chambers ? I for one will be going up the a12 to watch a few games ! |
| News Comment | Jeffers at Playford Road For Talks at 16:10:03
framlinghamblue is spot on. Most chanpionship clubs have many coaching staff. long gone are the days of managers taking training. Most top 2 Division clubs have 10-12 first team staff. its normal and im all for it. i may be looking at it too simply but things like our poor record from set pieces may have been to do with this. |
| News Comment | Dozzell: A Big Season For the Club Ahead at 14:38:25
i know theres plenty of haters on here, but him and Flynn as a two have improved so much in recent months. Andre has made more appearances than anyone this season. as for his work rate rate it seems only me and opta realise how much work he puts in. his eye for a pass is miles the best at the club. He has made the third most tackles in the division this season. if we actualy had some clever forward making the correct runs he would lookas good as he did for england for the past 4 years or so. where he often found runs from Sancho, Abraham and the like. IMO first name on the team sheet next season |
| News Comment | Released Blue Roberts Could Return to Gills at 18:27:37
Hahaha. As if you're all discussing colback. He will have loads of offers in prem and championship. Is on 40k at Newcastle. Also town won't sign a single player in the summer |
| News Comment | Six Changes as Town Face Coventry in FA Cup at 13:51:44
I know I'm alone, but I really rate Keane and although his scoring record has been pretty average, I've worked out from past games and teamsheets for various clubs, when playing in a 2 he has a return of 1 goal in 3 games which isn't as bad. Wish he's get a chance to partner Jackson |
| News Comment | Keane: I'm Ready When Required at 23:04:32
Totally understand I'm going to get down votes. Norwood isn't lethal in front of goal (not to say Keane is) taking penalties away his return isn't as good as everyone goes on about. He never wins a flick on and doesn't hold the ball. I understand he's a cult hero. But with him and Jackson playing up top the ball never sticks. Holy can kick so far, so I'd like to see Keane start. He wins loads of aerial duels and he can hold the ball and bring other players into the game. |
| News Comment | Garbutt Back in Training at 18:28:45
Not ignoring the fact that he was brilliant in the left mid role. But I for one want to see him play left back. With the 11 as it is. I think him and young are perfect at full back |
| News Comment | Dozzell in England U20s Squad at 09:32:34
The way England play at every level, absolutely suits him. I'm convinced he would look miles a better player in a team that has loads of the ball. He just ain't the player who's going to go and win the ball for you. I understand the fans loving Flynn. He's whole hearted, brave, confident and an all round good box to box midfielder but he isn't in the same league as Andre technically |
| News Comment | Bolton Could Be Liquidated as Takeover Collapses at 11:14:26
Hucks is spot on here. People are too quick to blame the premier league and ask big clubs for bail outs. When the clubs themselves need to take responsibility and work within there means. For example Bournemouth (yes they spend fair sized transfer fees) but they don't go over the top. The wage structure they have in place and the money they have been putting aside for the past 5 years mean that if they were to be related once or even twice they have plans and contingency in place. Sheffield United seem to be doing the same thing. Clubs need to take responsibility for the things they do to themselves. I feel sooooo sorry for those poor Bolton fans ! |
| News Comment | Lambert: QPR Interest Definitely Unsettled Judge at 09:07:19
Souperjim, yet another of our so called fans slating a young player, he runs as many yards per minute as Flynn downes according to opta. Also judge didn't take the corner on Saturday Idris el Mizouni did. So before you start slagging your own players off get your facts straight |
| News Comment | Town Set to Sign Wolves Keeper Norris at 13:08:57
