Fabio is not doing wonders for the club? He’s tapping into a ready made fan base to boost his popularity and boost his profile, not the other way around.
Lots of boxers do it, I don’t blame them, look at Wood with Forest and Warrington with Leeds, it’s very common practice, but to say he’s done loads for the club is absolute nonsense. |

Hopefully not, the drum kills the atmosphere, doesn’t add to it.
Just means the same repetitive, droning songs get sung. If we got rid of it at home atmosphere would be loads better. |

Leeds is not a free hit, we are a club who want to compete in this division. There’s no such thing as a “free-hit”. What a weird attitude to have, we aren’t minnows for christ sake. |

I’ve seen plenty of people say they are all good enough to start for Championship teams, when at best they are all serviceable L1 players. Starting Championship players move for those sort of fees.
We are a good side, personally I think we are playing far greater than the sum of our parts and McKenna and the players are doing a fantastic job. But not many of our players would get in other top half teams, just my opinion. [Post edited 21 Aug 2023 11:37]

I’m not saying it’s an overly bad thing, it’s great that we like our team.
What I’m saying is, a lot of players who people may like are not going to be good enough to step up. I think that’s evident in the first few games where despite us winning, you can see we are a bit short.
Players like Evans, Edwards, Leigh, Ladapo are all players who are likely to be leave or be upgraded over the next 12 months, the way some of our fans talk about them you would think they would be leaving for multiple million pound fees. |

Agree on this, solid dependable player but nothing more than that.
I think a lot of our players are being over rated by our fans, as it’s the first time we have had success in a while we are too emotionally attached to some of our players. If we want to progress players will have to be upgraded. |

Whilst a signing at CB would be the priority, you can still sign other players before that happens. There will be movement out of the squad to accommodate this signing if it happens. Evans the most likely to go. Potentially could allow Greg Leigh to leave as well, as Colback could be the backup left back. On KOA it did mention that Leigh had L1 interest, albeit that was a month or so ago. |
