The main roads will be fine, it will effect those in remote locations more obviously.
Apart from the train station being closed, I cant see how the game can be called off if they upgraded the drainage and cover the pitch.
I hate the idea of further game congestion and id like us to get through these games before further injuries and international call ups (Asia cup) take their toll.
My biggest worry is that these conditions will truly aid Rotherham and implead us. |

I feel strange saying this but I’d hoped we’d bring in someone with a bit more experiane leading a line solo at this level or equivalent. We need the out ball and we have a lot of players with potential but not necessarily blooded and proven at this level.
Ideally over 6ft and very mobile but that’s a hard combination to come by in this price bracket.
Either way I hope he’s lights us up and McKenna is proven right once again.
I’d also like to keep Edwards as I think he’s further along that Hutchinson from the limited minutes I’ve seen of him. |

I really like Leigh & Edwards but unfortunately if they are not going to be playing enough minutes to warrant a squad place then replacing them with players with potential that are under the 23 year old threshold makes sense to me.
With the squad and financial limits, these decisions are necessitated to include as much quality as possible in the squad allocation.

People keep mentioning Dyer, he was a great player and I have the upmost respect for him but can we really believe this guy was unequivocally standing up for the youth of the club and not remotely bitter about his position or lack of in the clubs management team?
I hate seeing youngsters go and we should learn from the past mistakes; However, the clubs integrity and strategy far outweighs individual egos and visions.
Id love to see Simpson in and around the squad as I think he offers something we perhaps don't yet have in our arsenal, yet, I wish him luck, lets not take it personally, its business.
The club is in the best position it has been in for 2 decades, lets bloody well enjoy the ride lads. |

I'd love to see Edwards coached into and given 3/4 games at LWB! We are desperate for someone to claim that spot and give the team more solidity down that flank along with giving the team greater balance to align with the right side going up it.
I'm a little nervous about today, Gillingham aren't a good side but I've been burnt too many times with underwhelming performances after thinking we've turned a corner. |

Its always hard to let the homegrown players go knowing it could have been so different but we as a club in transition have decisions to make and lines to be drawn, as fans we have to trust the process now.
it feels like we've been hoping and praying for Teddy can stay fit for over 5 years now, and part of me was hoping the new medical staff and better club infrastructure would bring out the best in him.
personally i just hope he has a long and healthy career, its frustrating enough for fans when players are injured but i cant imagine the mental termoil for the players themselves.

Something about this situation stinks, we are paying for and signing championship players yet we cant keep hold of a youngster with zero experiance? must be more to this one and to be honest if youngesters are demanding unreasonable terms then let them go because at this level we need dedication to the cause.
i wish him a long and succesful career but its just sad to see so many of these youngsters making demands before actually proving and ability and consistancy in the 1st team. |

The lads head is gone, i didnt blame him for wanting to leave and having ambition when we were owened by evans but his attitude hasnt changed and as good as he could be, he isnt there yet!
its great to have self belief but a lot of our younger players over the years would have done well to keep thier heads down and actually earn something rather than living on "potential" and thinking they're bigger than their performances and consistancy on the pitch. |

Sad that its come to this but without knowing the ins and outs of the negotiations, its hard to pass judgment although i would like to think that if an 18 year old with only 2 apperances is offered a pro deal at a club thats seen them progress this far then you cant expect life changing money until youve proven your aptitude at the level.
