I don’t think you can criticise the effort. Yes there was a gulf in class but what did we expect. We have invested over 100 million on players to try and stay in the Prem which was only a pipe dream 2 years ago. There are limits to the level of player you will attract and we have to be realistic about that. I still see great support and positivity inside PR and we must all continue to support the team. Most weeks they give us real hope of getting a result. It’s not easy but remember how far we have come. |

All Premier League keepers make good saves but top keepers are judged by how few mistakes they make. Muric does have some good qualities but too many mistakes. If you are Walton sat on the bench you would have to be wondering when your chance was coming. He did well against Liverpool and takes less risks. In addition to above Tuanzebe and Greaves are a big miss. It was entertaining to watch though ! And heartbreaking ! |

A self inflicted defeat littered with mistakes. Some poor choices from Muric despite some good saves. Take the mistakes out and it’s a close game. If Axel is not fit for next game give Harry Clarke a chance. There will be some tough lessons this season. |

Blues1, I agree that Burns has been an exceptional signing and has proved he can adjust and cope at a higher level each time we got promoted and we only paid a very small fee for him (150 - 200k I believe). The fee for Ogbene could be around 8 Million though ! |

A very likeable guy and I was disappointed he didn’t bring success to us during his time but he did bring some good players to us which helped lay the foundations for what we are seeing today. The big difference between Paul Cook and his staff and what we have in place now is undoubtedly the quality of the coaching and preparation. We have a Premier League quality team of management and coaching staff now. Paul Cook and his same staff have just won the National League. Congratulations to him though. He’s a great character. |

Long ball up to the big man and fight for the second ball.
I would take our current style over that every day of the week. Most of our games are live on sky. Why is that ? Because we are entertaining more often than not. Today was disappointing but 78 points from 37 games is unbelievable. Top two is still wide open and we have 4 home games from next 6. Keep the faith and stay positive. |
