 | News Comment | Chaplin's Portsmouth Loan Return Confirmed at 07:17:37
Always sad to see a loyal servant to the club go and he did really well for us in league one and the Championship but we didn’t kick him out or treat him badly, he just wants regular football which is understandable at this stage of his career and he is unlikely to get it with us. Let’s also remember that the team that got promoted from League One were also a team of misfits for a while but look what they went on to achieve. We have to trust KM and MA. They have served us well and continue to do so. 3 draws and one defeat doesn’t mean they have lost the plot. Once again we have dug deep and spent a good few quid to try and bring us success. How many supporters of other clubs would swap places with us ??? |
 | News Comment | Ogbene Completes Blades Loan Move at 18:53:06
Didn’t see anything to suggest he could get past the full back the way Omari did. Clearly not the player he was pre injury so surely the right decision. Let someone else have him while he is only at 50 -60% and if he gets back to a high level he is still our player to use or sell at a good price. On current form he would only be 3rd or 4th choice when Burns is fit. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Davis Committing to Town a Big, Big Positive at 22:52:57
There’s nothing supporters love more than fully committed players. Yes he still has some improvement needed defensively but has been a very good signing for us. A quality player in the Championship. |

Sad to see him go but 10 mill is a very good return on what we paid and he has given us some great moments and good service. You have to be ruthless and calculated in football and maybe KM is showing that he has the balls to make the tough decisions. You have to trust KM and MA. They have served us well. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Hutchinson Didn't Feel That He Could Contribute Today at 00:11:27
We shouldn’t be dictated to by any player but we don’t half miss his attacking wing play. Ogbene doesn’t look like he has much pace or silky skills to get past even the Bromley full back so not much hope in the Championship games. Would much prefer Burns if Omari goes. Clark does possess some skill but concedes possession too easily with not much end product. I am sure we will improve when Cajuste is back and Akpom competing with Hurst for No 9 slot. |
 | News Comment | Tuanzebe Linked With Trabzonspor at 23:04:21
Best 1v1 defender we have. Miles better than Clarke or Johnson. Has had a few injuries although the hand one was a bit unfortunate. First choice starter for me with Clarke as back up. |
 | News Comment | Saints Unwilling to Sell Downes to Relegation Rival at 12:13:34
Mediocre. Not good enough at West Ham, not shining for the Saints so why would we want him ? And certainly not for 15 Million. Dodgy temperament too. At least Morsy can control himself when on a yellow and retains the ball better. But it’s a challenge to improve your squad in the January transfer window when you are 2nd bottom. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-6 Manchester City - Match Report at 20:18:26
I don’t think you can criticise the effort. Yes there was a gulf in class but what did we expect. We have invested over 100 million on players to try and stay in the Prem which was only a pipe dream 2 years ago. There are limits to the level of player you will attract and we have to be realistic about that. I still see great support and positivity inside PR and we must all continue to support the team. Most weeks they give us real hope of getting a result. It’s not easy but remember how far we have come. |
 | News Comment | Town Turn Down Boro Edmundson Bid at 19:00:35
@tractorboy in HK and @blues1 - he has obviously done well at Boro which is why they want to sign him. 350k is a low offer. Mark Ashton will negotiate better than that. If Jacob Greaves is worth 15 million or whatever we paid for him George has to be worth more than 2.3% of that figure ? |
 | News Comment | Brentford 4-3 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 17:51:44
All Premier League keepers make good saves but top keepers are judged by how few mistakes they make. Muric does have some good qualities but too many mistakes. If you are Walton sat on the bench you would have to be wondering when your chance was coming. He did well against Liverpool and takes less risks. In addition to above Tuanzebe and Greaves are a big miss. It was entertaining to watch though ! And heartbreaking ! |
 | News Comment | West Ham United 4-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 17:25:14
A self inflicted defeat littered with mistakes. Some poor choices from Muric despite some good saves. Take the mistakes out and it’s a close game. If Axel is not fit for next game give Harry Clarke a chance. There will be some tough lessons this season. |

Served the club brilliantly as a player and manager. Despite playing and managing elsewhere ITFC is his club. Many would have welcomed him back as manager after McCarthy went. |
 | News Comment | Town Closing in On Ogbene Signing at 22:37:31
Blues1, I agree that Burns has been an exceptional signing and has proved he can adjust and cope at a higher level each time we got promoted and we only paid a very small fee for him (150 - 200k I believe). The fee for Ogbene could be around 8 Million though ! |

Struggling to get excited about this one. Playing for Rotherham up to 2023. 34 games and 4 goals for Luton. Nothing that stands out but happy to be proved wrong. |
 | News Comment | Nsiala Returns to Hurst's Shrews at 06:20:31
Dreadful with the ball at his feet. Couldn’t pick a pass from 10 yards. Like watching Zouma at West Ham ! |
