To offer another view, languid and pedestrian, whose pace gets him out of trouble. Clearly not at the level we aspire to be, and not as good as Burgess. In the current market we'd get £3-4m for him? |

I'm just going to say that Morsy, Luongo, and no doubt a few others were players out of favour with their clubs who ended up doing great jobs for us. I think we have to remember the market we are shopping in at the moment. There will be more signings no doubt, and I kind of trust the management over a few board posters who don't really know anything about the player. |

There's a balance to be had here. I think we need to just accept he's not currently strong enough to play in this Ipswich team, and that there's no need to labour that point. If we can see it, then you know both the manager and the player himself can see it. It's now all about who we can get in to bolster our numbers. |

I'd have added getting in the Championship's leading scorer in Szmodics as well to that list. Though I still maintain a key factor in our relegation was injuries to players that would have been regulars for us. |

I've just sat through the Town TV video of Jens' arrival - it was so nice to see a) the kind of chap he was, b) how geniunely happy all the staff are to see him back and c) some of the stuff that goes on to get a player in on loan. The fact he still had the keys to his flat in Ipswich was a bit of a giveaway that he wanted to come back here!
