TimmyH - £650 a week = a poor sum?! I'd like your job mate! Agree he deserves to be rewarded though and reckon he's probably now on a grand a week. Not a bad wage in my opinion for a youngster and still has the incentive to improve. Also think he is loyal to Town so will sign another contract as and when offered.Therefore don't think it's too much of a risk on our behalf |

Agree irishtim. Surely there's money from the wages saved from the likes of Bullard and Leadbitter to give him a decent contract. Think he warrants being joint top earner from his effort and performances of late, but for all we know he could be the top earner already! |

I agree Garv and hairbear, good player and defo better than Murphy at scoring from wide left. There's no pleasing some people, he's the best loan we could get because he's been here and could slot right in. Would have to be for a season though for stabilities sake.
As others have mentioned, I would also like it if we could develop and keep our own players. 8Million was really good money for an 18 year old and as Guthrum rightfully pointed out, the club has been losing substantial amounts of money for a number of years now. Bring him back for the season and COYB! |
