What a cracking start to the season ! Great characteristics to be able to come back at home. Burnley should be an interesting game next. I'd bring a few changes though, e.g Tabb for Douglas, McG for AMN just to freshen it up a bit. |

We didn't look as composed on the ball as Derby and ended up playing too much hoof-ball which was frustrating at times. 4-3-3 would have probably suited us earlier in the game.

Stewart did well against Shelbourne, especially when switched to the right. He put a few good balls in and set up the Mings goal. He also took the corners in that game. I'd expect him to start ahead of Henshall given the inexperience of the lad. Hopefully there can be good competition for the left flank this year. |

Sounds like a smart move. When you consider how Keano and Jewell flushed millions down the pan on unproven youngsters like Lee Martin, JET etc, this seems relatively low risk. Am I the only one who thinks that FFP could be a blessing in disguise? |

At 31 I can't see TB willing to accept a 1-year contract especially at this level. His wages are gonna be a stumbling block and in all honesty, do we need the hassle? Sign up Khumalo on a season long loan and Veseli on a 2 year contract. It'll work out cheaper than TB and provides us with more options and better competition for places. It's easy to get sentimental at times, but common sense has to prevail. |
