Were you not about when we had a fan group protesting against the management and ownership of the club by disrupting training, displaying banners outside the main entrance on a match day, displaying banners inside the stadium during matches, hanging banners on the training ground & stadium gates and walls, organising fan protests, and calling for season ticket & ifollow boycotts? Rest assured if it’s ever needed again, we’ll be right there just as we were before. |

Fugees, The Score. 1996. I remember my grandad being unimpressed when I put it on in the car on the way home from buying it. |

It’s a bit 80’s Glasgow Rangers, but that’s alright with me. |

I buy my boy kits from there, all decent enough and you don’t mind them getting ruined playing out in them as they’re never more than £15. He’s got… Santos (Neymar) 10/11 Milan (Kaka) 05/06 Barcelona (Ronaldinho) 07/08 Italy (Maldini) 1996 Roma (Dybala) 23/24 Barcelona x Travis Scott (Lamal) 24/25 I’ve got an 88/89 Napoli shirt from there too which is very good. I always buy from the highest rated seller for whichever shirt I’m wanting to buy. |

We only produced one North Stand display this season, “The Future Is Now”, against Liverpool on the opening day. Following mass complaints from supporters of their pre-match view being blocked by the banner that was unfurled from the top tier, the club wouldn’t permit any more tifos on that scale for the rest of the season. While we were disappointed and disheartened at our display being negatively affected by some fans, we take our share of blame for it. Our communications weren’t clear enough as to what the tifo would entail, and we didn’t take into consideration how much it meant to fans to see the players enter the pitch that day. In hindsight, we would have chosen a different style of display so’s not to take away that moment for supporters. After discussions with the club, we will be returning to organising displays in the North Stand next season. Whilst the displaying of any tifo means that some of the fans partaking will potentially have their pre-match view spoiled, going forward we will try and minimise this and plan accordingly. Our communications will also be more clear as to what will happen during any display. We have two tifos already planned - the first of which will be for the opening game at Portman Road next season. Our group funds have covered the costs for this display, and we will be starting work on it shortly. The second will be for the home derby, whenever that may be. We require some funding for that one, as to cover the full North Stand will cost us around £3,000. We will be releasing some new merch over the summer to help towards the cost, and have also set up a gofundme for help with donations. All of our displays are fully handmade and fan funded. Whilst more and more clubs and groups in England are taking the route of using outside agencies and printing firms to produce tifos for them, we strongly believe that these actions should instead be 100% fan led - funded, created and organised by Ipswich Town supporters. Our group members all pay towards the cost of tifo materials, but these costs are beyond us when it comes to the big displays, so we’re asking for support from the wider fanbase. Anything you can donate will be very much appreciated by the group, and will help towards what we hope will be a successful season for our football club. The more funds we can raise, the more large displays we can produce, including potential big games next spring. Thanks as always for your continued support. Nothing is possible without it. They moved central a year or two ago, but I think the stipulation from the club was they’d have to be further up the back instead of at the front (same with us in A-Block) to keep the peace as it were. They sang for the whole game as they always do, but like every English club with an active group, it’s just those 50 odd lads that do, and the rest of the stand/ground will only occasionally join in. |

When tifo’s (which literally take days to produce) are hand made by volunteers (who have full time jobs and families, young kids etc) in their spare time, you (who’s done nothing of the sort, as far as I’m aware) don’t get to sit on the internet and criticise how many are made, especially when you know the reason why there’s been no more in the north stand this season (there’s been 3 others in our section anyway) Without BA, you’d never have even seen a tifo at Portman Road. |
 | Forum Reply | Any TIFO plans for Southampton game? McKenna message.. at 16:50 20 Jan 2025
Nothings planned for Southampton tbh, but if there was it would be in our section anyway. There won’t be anything from us in the NS for the rest of this season at least. The club won’t allow it after all the complaints they got after that game anyway. A shame but. Just an aside, all of Forza Garibaldi’s displays are printed by an outside agency - no physical work by their own members goes into any of them. That may not mean anything to the average fan who just enjoys the visual aspect of it, but to those involved in the scene it makes them worthless. You either spend the time and effort making them yourself, or you don’t bother at all. |

What I mean is that while you get mostly sporadic chanting from the North Stand, we continuously sing for the whole game, so we’re keeping a constant noise throughout the game regardless of what’s happening. I just skimmed through a vlog from a fella that stands in S6 of the NS. Every chant that he and others around him sing are ones that are started from A-Block, so we can be heard up until the aisle of S5 at least, and then imo it’s up to the rest of the NS to carry those songs on. They just usually don’t, hence the worsened atmosphere now. We had to move when we did as it had become so unenjoyable with the pushback and minimal participation from those around us. If we’d not, I’m pretty sure we’d have given up and disbanded by now. Tbh aswell, we’re kind of over worrying about what the overall stadium atmosphere sounds like now - we can only do what we can do as 40 odd lads - the rest is up to everyone else. But what we have done is created an area with a real buzz about it, where any likeminded fan that does want to stand and sing for 90 minutes of every game can do. Thats a good thing regardless of everything else. |

As far as I know, none of our members left until after the final whistle. If our banner is displayed, that means the group is present. There were a few lulls no doubt, but we still sang for the full 90 minutes, as we do every game. I don’t know where you sit, but our noise clearly spread to the north stand as I could see some of them joining in with us in the second half. |
