 | News Comment | O'Shea: We're Conceding Poor Goals at 21:25:12
Don't rate him at all. That mistake in the second half where he sliced his clearence was awful and I can't see any qualities that make him premier league quality so far. Not surprised Burnley went down so easily last season. |
 | News Comment | Burton Albion 0-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 22:29:58
Much as it wasn't a great performance this is the type of win we need if we want to get promoted and in previous seasons we would have lost. Walton was immense, Leigh very athletic and mobile and Donacien solid as ever. Chaplin looked absolute class when he came on. |
 | News Comment | Town Closing in On McKenna at 21:05:34
He's pretty bland in that interview clip. Not sure he is going to inspire the team. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 2-3 Bristol City - Match Report at 22:16:23
I have to say that result has absolutely done my head in. I think this is the lowest I have ever felt about the club. How on earth did we contrive to lose that game against a woeful Bristol City. Three of the worst goals any team will ever conceed. I have been a big fan of Bart but after that performance he needs dropping again. As for Spence, I just do not understand how anyone can feel that he is worth a game. What has happened to Donacien, got to be better than Spence. Lambert must be thinking what has he walked into. |
 | News Comment | McCarthy: Evans Doesn't Want to Do McGoldrick Deal at 22:00:04
Would be gutted to see McGoldrick go, but if Mick could negotiate a deal that would bring Chris Wood to us as part of the transfer then that would make me much happier. £8 million is a good deal but from McGoldrick's point of view would he get in above Nugent or Ulloa - doubtful? Norwich fans making me laugh asking how much Gary Hooper is worth if McGoldrick is valued at £8million. Personally, i would pay more for a player who has scored 19 goals in 47 matches for his current club than 6 in 32. |
 | News Comment | Keane Disappointed to Be Leaving Town at 14:52:48
Not in the slighest sad to see Keane go. The fact that he won his first two games with the team he inherited and then proceeded to take us backwards says it all. To suggest that some fans didn't support him from the start seems a bit odd as I think most fans were quite reasonable to him after our terrible start last year. A decent manager with a bit more experience will soon have us heading up the table. |
 | News Comment | Town Dismiss Bust-Up Claim at 11:24:14
Suffolk n good great lyrics, and the first thing on here for a while that has made me laugh. Maybe it's time for this chant on saturday! |
 | News Comment | Garvan Has Considered Moving On at 18:35:11
Garvan was awesome on Tuesday night and anyone that thinks a midfiled pairing of Norris and Leadbitter is a better partnership must like the prospect of seeing Ipswich fail to score. He has to start against Scunthorpe if we are to win. Everyone talks about Garvans lack of pace but is he any slower than John Walters? For me Garvan and Colback will be the midfielders that get us out of trouble. |
 | News Comment | Town Back in Bottom Three at 14:05:34
One stat says it all for me this season. Played Peterborough three times: Lost 2 and drawn one. Think that sums up how good we are! Thankfully, when we played QPR they had an even worse manager in charge (Mick Harford) otherwise we would be in even bigger trouble. |
 | News Comment | Keane: Nothing Imminent on Loan Signings at 13:08:36
Surco...You are spot on. Garvan has to be a starter. Norris, Leadbitter and Colback are all far two similar and you only need two of those type of players at best. Need a creative Midfielder who can pass and Garvan is the closest we have. Personally I don't care if he can't tackle and is slow as he brings other attributes to the team. |
