If there can be any criticism aimed at our fantastic support this season it is exactly that ! We go quiet when the game is not going all our own way, yes I get all the arguments that it's a two way street bla bla bla however look at the late goals in games up & down the leagues when the supporters really make a noise, of course it would also make so much difference if ALL the stands made some noise! & not just leave it to the SBR ! It's composure we lack, both at the back & in attack! So many times we have an opportunity to clear or score & so many times we appear to get over excited , add that to the acceptance from the crowd of “here we go again “ & if we are not careful to address it we are heading for a season of “nearly” ! January needs to see us bring in a striker different to what we have & a midfielder who can spot a good pass from 25 yards, oh & to prevent the over comfortable Christian Walton getting carried away bring Valclav back for a game or two ! |

My biggest concern before a ball was kicked was the referee appointment only his second game in league one, well if that's the case then please can we have the next batch of new referees for all our games, not afraid of making big decisions, not afraid to caution poor behaviour, & kept up with play the majority of the game , yes with the benefit of hindsight he might have made one or two different decisions however I would take him every time over some of the experienced dross we have had in the last couple of seasons, well done KMC & the super blues keep grounded & we will achieve our goals! |
