Vancouver_Blue, “Big Mick and The Pauls”, nicely put! Do they have a greatest hits compilation?! Maybe nothing on record. I'll be listening to KMcK and the Sunshine Kids later today at Portman Road. One more time and it's a Saturday - oh yeah..

Ladapo: Everyone in the Group is Feeling Confident

Just paid my tenner to ifoullow but I'm not expecting today to be a classic. Cheltenham's performance against Sheff Wed reminds us there are no gifts in this league. Good luck to Freddie, his 17 goals so far, pace and movement plus patience on the bench are a credit. COYB.

Slightly off topic.. but this EADT article from yesterday is definitely worth a read “Ipswich Town: Kieran McKenna on benefits of 'brave' build-up”. Maybe deserves a separate TWTD post?

Blues Host Pompey in Papa Johns Trophy
at 05:48:30

ITFC's comms team will be delighted this fixture is the headline grabbing ‘pick of last 32 ties' at BBC news online. Fancy our chances with home advantage but I'm sure we won't have it all our own way. Can Joe Pigott play against his home club? Pompey News reporting from FA Cup first round: “Pigott's poacher's finish after coming on as a second-half substitute against Hereford on Friday night was just his third of the season and ended a run of 11 games without a goal.” Back o'the net - Town!

EFL Matches Postponed as Mark of Respect
at 07:04:28

@Dog has called it correctly. The immediate postponement of footie at Portman Road is related to the level of police resourcing needed at short notice in London. Look out for vans of coppers heading down the A12. For other sporting events common sense has prevailed where political correctness has not blinded decision makers.

Town Confirm Ahadme Signing
at 07:01:10

Welcome to Portman Road, Gassan. All our striker TWTD online warrior comments have been answered! This was reported yesterday from (The News) Portsmouth FC: “The move comes as a surprise to many as the striker only made the switch to Burton in January after a failed loan stay at Fratton Park. The Moroccan joined Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's side in the last window for an undisclosed fee from Norwich.” So.. 1) Gassan/Kieran must have spotted the formula that works for him since Jan, 2) Was ITFC always the intended destination but Naarwich couldn't be seen working with a neighbour?
