The majority of which who post on here completely baffle me - so I’ve only just allowed myself to actually post on here because I could never bring myself to get involved.

I’m totally confused as to how a man who the majority of which have never heard of this time last month is all of a sudden the savour and the messiah. And there’s a lot of knickers being put in a twist about him now (possibly) not coming here and how it’s all Evans fault and he’s messed this up - a few weeks ago it was we need to go for Paul Hurst and it must be done now, now. I’m sure this has been done but other than “playing the Ipswich way” - what exactly is the big appeal about him?

Of course I understand he’s young, and not part of the manager merry go round, a few more ticks - but because he’s gotten St. Mirren promoted, he’s the guy? I struggle to see the appeal on that basis. Maybe being a bit harsh but he also has a relegation on his CV but appreciate it that he was on to a hiding to nothing there.

If Evans wanted him that bad, he’d be here already, it’s that simple.

I think whatever Marcus Evans does, he’s going to get it wrong. People are quick to criticise. But I think he’s actually handling and doing this right. We’re still in the original timeline he said it would be when Mick left and we still have some very exciting options.

Get over Jack Ross and let’s appoint someone that is right for Ipswich Town.
