Reminded me of Kaden Jackson's red vs Sunderland. [Post edited 25 Aug 20:54]

Could have kept him for first few matches, as it would have helped the transition to this new bunch of seeming strangers. |

Players are receiving the ball in those positions... |

We're a Chaplin away from winning this. |

Assuming Philogene is on the left, the right side looks extremely vulnerable. I'm not convinced by Johnson, and if Clarke is in front of him, that looks quite worrying. |

You've wasted an opportunity Gav. You could have gone full re-brand, 1992 Premier League style: All records pre-2023 become null and void. A shame we didn't sign another Chester striker after we played them in the cup in 79/80. A certain Ian Rush. |

Coros 3 has Recovery Measure which is like Training Readiness I guess. Also sleep HRV which may indicate overtraining. |

I have a Pace 3 and love it. It's incredibly light, battery lasts well, picks up GPS immediately. It also has great software, and they send out updates that actually add functionality. I wear mine as a daily watch, and love the vibrating alarm, timer & sleep measuring function. You can edit screens to suit. Oh and it has a music option if want to leave the phone at home and listen to mp3s. It's waterproof too, and i swim with it. I used to have a Garmin, but much prefer the Coros. I also don't bother with Strava any more as the Coros software has all the data you need, inc training plans, workouts, all sorts of stuff. It's the Connor Chaplin of running watches. :-) [Post edited 17 Aug 21:08]

Look at the team that day. I think even at this stage we were leaking confidence and bedding in new players who ultimately didn't ever bed in (Muric, Clarke, Phillips, Johnson). That's not really tactics. That's personnel. Or personnel who don't fit/understand the tactics. [Post edited 16 Aug 21:07]

I think if we'd played someone pants like West Ham, and won, we'd have stuck with the side and made any new recruits earn their starting place, rather than throwing them in to struggle. |

Not playing the first game against Liverpool helps. |
