 | News Comment | Hutchinson Completes Forest Move at 19:56:53
Omari you will have missed Ipswich supporters clapping your U21 championship efforts. At least your Agent has a handsome pay off for this deal. Adiós amigo. |
 | News Comment | Forest 'Close to Agreeing Hutchinson Fee' at 20:50:51
I wouldn't be surprised that his agent engineered this move. If there are other suitors wanting his services to help push up the price. Therefore I see him damaging his career in due course. Although a good player, his height is a disadvantage and didn't excel in the premier last season unlike LD. Wish him good luck. But his future has loads of pitfalls. |
 | News Comment | Chaplin: In Spells We Lacked Urgency at 10:15:08
Having been regulated from the Premiership our ball control was poor. There wasn't many telling passes. The corners were kicked too long and not to the far post. I believe there was a confusion of tactics. JC was trying to go alone too often . We find it difficult to handle big defenders. We need a settled. team and not a squad rotation. The pre season was generally good but so far into the season there are questions to be resolved. Time for KMc to pick a 1st eleven and use the rest when injuries or suspensions occur. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Hutchinson Didn't Feel That He Could Contribute Today at 23:53:48
Omari is not good enough to be a Premiership first eleven player. KMc needs to work on his tactical play. LD is finding life difficult at Chelsea. Whether or not teams are prepared to pay £40m is another question. OK he won the U21 championship but there were better players in the England squad. So please Omari give us another season. |
 | News Comment | Bromley 1-1 Ipswich Town (5-4 on Pens) - Match Report at 22:25:11
TV ginks again maybe; we were just not clinical when it mattered. A mixture of talents but not enough tactical knowhow to breakdown brave Bromley. Better game than the Birmingham game but only just. KMc more work required. Just disappointing about the absence of Hutchinson and Broadhead. Three points please against Southampton. |
 | News Comment | Town Confirm Akpom Loan Signing at 21:16:25
At last another striker. Well done MA for getting AC across the line. Now KMc has a squad bar the injuries to go forward with. |
 | News Comment | Hirst: Cajuste's One of the Best I've Ever Played With at 11:07:32
Too many supporters have assumed we would hit the championship all guns blazing. As with any team we have lost players, brought new players and still have a few question marks over a few players. Therefore the chemistry is not quite right. When Jens has been blended back into the team the performances will pick up. Ashley will also be a huge benefit. Fridays game lived up to the battle of two teams on different journeys. So if the supporters give the team the same great support from previous seasons the current team will evolve into a winning unit. Yesterday's other championship games prove we have no one to fear. |
 | News Comment | Birmingham City 1-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 22:22:19
This felt like a League one game. Both sides struggled to show quality football. The Ref didn't really have control of the game. We were fortunate to get the penalty. With our injuries we were not up to speed and Brum stopped our flow, just like the teams we met in League one. At least we have a point. I think we lacked the confidence of potential champions. Let see what magic KMc can produce against Southampton. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Hutchinson Not Mentally in Right Place For France Trip at 06:25:11
Don't blame Omari. Blame the greedy Premier league who suck the life blood out of teams below them trying to improve football for their fans. Brentford were a little team once but now have turned into LOADS OF MONEY symbol of what's wrong with British football. |
 | News Comment | AJ Auxerre 0-3 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 19:09:58
We are looking hungry after demolishing Auxerre. Next Friday will give us evidence of where the season is going. Just hope the squad will be injury free by next week. |
 | News Comment | Hackney Turns Down Town Move at 19:03:13
Hayden Hackney will be the loser in the long run. Squad player in Premier Land. Just hope we can land JC . |
