Yes the vendors of the house we'd had an offer accepted and detailed survey done on decided to put it back on the market after our 2nd buyer pulled out as they wanted to move quickly. Gave me great satisfaction that it was still up for sale well after we had moved into our new (and better) home. |

Don't want to give you false hope but keep in touch with the agent in case the buyer pulls out to make sure they know how keen you are. When we sold we had 2 potential buyers pull out for different reasons so it can happen. However, in that time we lost the house we wanted to purchase. In hindsight, best thing that ever happened to us. Ended up buying a house better suited with fab neighbours and great local schools (whereas the catchment school at our 'lost' property now has a dreadful reputation. Whatever will be will be and I strongly believe everything happen for a reason. |

Aw we thought the TV tower was expensive when we went about 5 years ago so if it's increased massively it'd probably be out of our price range now. We did enjoy the DDR museum and from memory it was pretty cheap to get into. Have noted your recommended Alltag in der DDR for our next visit, find all things 'east' fascinating. |

It's called the DDR museum and agree definitely worth a visit especially if you're of an age where you remember the wall coming down. We also enjoyed the spy museum and checkpoint charlie too and as RobMonk said the TV tower in Alexanderplatz was good. In fact nearly everywhere we visited in Berlin was good - we did the hop on hop off bus and saw most of the sights. |

Yep, an American friend who lives and holidays out that way posted about that on Facebook yesterday. He wanted to show there is opposition and he's highly embarrassed being an American at the moment. As for Miller's statement that 'Millions of American hearts swelled with overflowing pride...' that honestly sounds like the kind of propaganda N. Korea or Russia would come out with although with them voting Trump in in the first place maybe it's true. Hell in a handcart. |

Just reading it and it's so horrific. One of the guys passing by who went back in with a policeman and then carried a fatally injured little girl out of the building 'screaming as he did so'. What an incredibly man but I can't imagine he'll ever recover from that mentally. It's all so so awful beyond words. |

It was watchable if a little predictable. Found the actors struggled to sometimes get into character, for example the 'speech' by Smithy at the end to Nessa sounded too much like James Corden doing one of his monologues on the Late Show. |

We play this when watching TOTP on a Friday evening. Kinda expect it with the 70/80s but rather depressing how many from the 90s episodes are now dead too. |

Ipswich on the pitch, Liverpool down the ditch. This was regularly chanted in my primary school playground early 80s. If I recall, back then round our way kids tended to support one or the other with the odd Hammers fan thrown in too. |

Looking at the breakdown by demographics is facinating though. Not terribly surprising to be fair but facinating nonetheless. |

In West Suffolk our Reform candidate is apparently the deputy leader of the party, guessing they must think they've got a chance here which is thoroughly depressing. However, looking on the bright side they might just split the Tory vote. |

Yes exactly the same with us. At the end of Year 5 they were allowed to walk home from school by themselves so that's when we let our son have one. It has Family Link installed so we can track him when he goes out and he can't download apps etc without us getting a notification. Now he's in Year 7 a lot of his new friends live in other villages so he uses it to keep in touch with them (to be fair 25 years ago I used to tie up the landline for hours at a time chatting to my best friend so I guess it's just the modern version of that). Also, and I was surprised by this, but at school they use them a lot in lessons especially revision quizes. |
