 | News Comment | McKenna: We Need to Expand Our Scouting Networks and Recruit From Different Markets at 18:20:52
See Blueboy has crawled out from under his stone again with his usual negativity. Perhaps he'll be demanding KM gets the bullet as he has done previously. As for the ridiculous diatribe from Carberry, got so tedious I didn't bother to read all his wisdom & inside knowledge. Amazing how so many know so much about how to run a football club than the professionals. I do think we have to look overseas more, we had the biggest percentage of home grown players last season, in the friendlies recently Man U & Liverpool didn't have a single British player in their starting line ups. Perhaps there should be a limit to how many can play , there is a limit to how many in the squad. |
 | News Comment | Cajuste Set For Besiktas Medical at 17:45:32
Boys of81, the Turkish league is a very tough one, the supporters are mad, noisy & dangerous & some clubs get huge crowds, don't understand estimate it. |
 | News Comment | Cajuste Set For Besiktas Medical at 17:41:24
Virginal, did you actually watch him play? He made one of the tackles of the season can't remember who against buses was generally very sound defensively unlike Davis & Greaves. |
 | News Comment | Town Sign Veteran Keeper Button at 22:37:51
Darkhorse28, you win the prize for the biggest load of total bllx. Perhaps you don't recognise how poor the defence was especially Davis. You obviously ignore the facts as someone previously mentioned. Perhaps you ought to learn a bit about football especially goal keeping. If anyone leaves i think it will be Walton, a high earner but way of Premier standard and Slicker out on loan. |
 | News Comment | New Waterfront Bar Named in Tribute to Legend Mariner at 22:35:00
I used to walk past this building collapsed every day on my way to college. Burton's jam factory with a sickly sweet smell. Well done to Alex Reilly & his partners & the council who seem to work very closely with ITFC. Can only be good for the town. |

 | News Comment | Tuanzebe: Memorable Two Years, Thank You at 18:05:09
We really looked after him after Man U released him & nursed him back to fitness, gave him a contract making him one of the highest paid at PR. He is a Premier manager quality player but I can't say I'm too sorry to see him gone. |
 | News Comment | Huni Camp to Lodge Appeal After Wardley Defeat at 18:30:34
The ref didn't even start counting until he had sent Wardley to the corner so Huni was down for at least 10 seconds & another massive punch from Wardly could have done some real damage. |
 | News Comment | Burgess Joins Swansea at 23:41:19
Blueboy talking out of his sphincter yet again, he probablyhave Mccarthyback in a flash. . I can see a lot more moving on because to get prem quality players you need to be spending way more than we could. Perhaps a season of complete rebuilding. So many players are Championship quality & just not good enough for the Prem, I'd include Hurst,Broadhead, Clarke both of them even Davis who for me was a real disappointment. A year ago we were talking 30M. now maybe 3? Greaves? Chappers? Burns? Perhaps Chio will come good & Philogene but apart from Omari I don't really see anything but championship players. I expect Walton to go also. Really think we should be looking to Holland, France & Spain for the sort of quality needed. I am very surprised Burgess has gone to Swansea, they must have offered a very good contract because I look at them as a team that just makes up the championship, never going to do much. However, gooluck to him. Then there's the whole thing with KM, would he go to Brentford? They've certainly got some awesome players. Think there's going to be a lot going on in the the next few weeks. |
 | News Comment | Moyes: We're Among Clubs to Have Spoken to Delap at 18:42:25
Everton, what a joke unless they are going to pay him a ludicrous wage. I think he would benefit from going to Spain or Germany, the football is superior to the Premier |
 | News Comment | Forest Eyeing Davis at 16:36:20
A year ago we were talking about Davis as as a 30 million £ + player, a year in the Prem has shown he is nothing of the sort. Personally I hope he & various others stay & try to get another promotion but we do seriously need to bring in many new faces & I can't see where the "home grown " players are. Every other Prem team has a squad made up of mainly overseas players, Liverpool for example have often played with a team of completely overseas players. Unfortunately this is how the game is now. |
 | News Comment | Sheeran Revealed as Final Call Me Ted Artist at 17:26:30
Well done Wolfy, you epitomise the sort of so called supporter we don't need. Back to supporting Maan U next season? We are in a really fortunate position having ES as a world celebrity happy to promote the club worldwide, I wonder how many shirts have been sold due to him. Then we have Fabio Wardley fighting for the heavy weight championship at PR & no doubt wearing Ipswich on his trunks & perhaps too lesser people but important in promoting ITFC, Ali el Hamadi & Elkan Baggott both with massive followings from their home countries. No other team has that sort of star following, look at Man City, they've got the dumb Gallagher muppet |
 | News Comment | Sheeran Call Me Ted Poster Unveiled at 17:08:25
Like it, Ed has hidden talent but he did design the pink kit which I thought was brilliant with a lot of excellent ideas, the sound wave of the crowd & the castle were clever. One thing you can guarantee with Mr Sheeran is he will stand by the team through thick & thin unlike so many on here, Blueboy, RobsonWark etc. |
 | News Comment | Taylor: It's Going to Be Completely Different Next Year at 13:46:14
Completely agree with Broadbent23⁸. We have the lowest number of registered overseas players in the Prem the max being 17 which quite a few clubs have. Liverpool have put out teams with no home grown players as I'm sure others have. It seems there is a shortage of Prem quality home grown players and the very best are playing in Europe. The philosophy of having young, hungry home grown players hasn't really worked, perhaps we should be looking in Europe & Africa more become where is the talent in Britain? |
 | News Comment | Delap Returns as Blues Make Four Changes at Newcastle at 20:36:01
Ridiculous comments by the usual idiots with all the inside knowledge. We are struggling to put a team out due to so many injuries which has plagued us all season even having to have two goalkeepers on the bench for at least one game. Long term injuries to some of the expensive recruits & even their replacements have blighted the season plus when you look at teams like Wolves who we had hoped to catch are able to field three Brazilian internationals, very hard to compete with that & it's not poor recruitment, it's the disparity between the Premier & the Championship & PSR being in force. |
 | News Comment | Promoted Pair Linked With Hirst at 14:18:37
If an offer came in for Hirst £5m or above we should take it. He's not a prem player but good enough for the Championship but we need to build a new team not a team for the Championship. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Much Appreciated and Not Quickly Forgotten at 16:42:24
Lee James, rather a lot to say for themselves Wonder why so much effort to just post negativity. Your blood pressure must go through the roof when everyone marks you down. About the only thing I can remotely agree with is I also thought Muric was singled out for OTT criticism. Using the imbeciles arguments for us to have been competitive this season w would probably have had to spend around 3 times the amount to get Premier quality players from abroad. We have the highest number of home grown players in the 25 man squad of all the teams, Liverpool have played with none in their team at times. It's imperative we get Status 1 for our development team then we can attract overseas players to develop as home grown if they are with us for 3 years. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: We'll Have Learned an Awful Lot This Season at 16:16:22
I wouldn't bother reading anything from Widj123 or even marking him/her down. Had a lot to say since the Chelsea game, everything negative, nothing before so I suspect an imposter. Perhaps one of our six fingered friends up the road. |
