I have seen continental drift move faster than Scott Fraser, Sam Morsy clearly couldn’t care less and Lee Evans is the least talented midfield player to ever wear an Ipswich shirt.
Re. OP…I get what you mean but Gamechanger would be remiss as a business if they didn’t have an exit strategy in mind even before they took over. This is standard fare for all sensible investors.
I still don’t get what all the fuss is about with him. Just feel that - as with a number of our younger players - it is more a case of people wanting to see something that isn’t there just because he came through our set up.
That said, I’d love to be proved wrong. The problem for him though is that we currently have about 5 or 6 players who do his job better.
In terms of the second goal yesterday, I genuinely believe that the cross was close enough to him that he should be at least attempting to claim it. Having decided to stay on his line, he then 100% HAS to hold on to what was a fairly weak header.
In a more general sense, he NEVER bosses his area, does not inspire confidence in his defenders (you can visibly see both Burgess and Woolfenden second-guessing their own decision-making in 50/50 situations where even a semi-competent keeper would claim through balls or crosses), and his shot stopping is diabolical. Also, he is listed on Wikipedia at 188cm or 6’2/3. This can’t be accurate, surely?!? To me he looks shorter than Wooldenden who is small for a centre half. I would love for Hladky to prove me wrong but at this point he seems to bring literally nothing to the table.
