Rosenior Looking For Premier Return
at 15:13:25

I must admit I like how all of the latest signings have carefully treaded around our terrible start!

They're all saying the right things but can our season start now? Please???

Keane: You Won\'t Play for Me Again
at 16:41:43

"Keano has inherited a squad that quite honestly he owes nothing to"

This is a fantastic point Dobbie and one I forgot. Most of these players mean nothing to him as he has never worked with them before or met them. He also said he wasn't going to be a friend or too close to them. He has no sentiment he just wants a team of winners, he doesn't care if he has to get rid of fan favourites or players who have been here for years or players who bleed blue and white. If they aren't good enough in his eyes they are gone. The only one of our players he seems to have taken a shine to is Wickham and arguably R.Wright/Bruce!

Town Sign Former Schoolboy Lee-Barrett
at 17:59:11

@devontractorboy we signed that Polish guy from southampton last season then that Nick Colgan and neither of them never played for us! I don't think we really need a very good keeper on good wages who may never play when we have a Ipswich lad here who hopefully wants to impress

Supple Leaves the Club and Football
at 13:55:40

Agree with all the comments here, this is quite gutting! Such a bright prospect and nice person. I'm sure 95% of footballers would rather sit on the bench and pick up a heftypay packet for playing a few cup or reserve games a year and he has shown a lot of bravery especially during a recession! I wish him every future success, even if he returns to football one day. Really changed my mind about the modern day footballer!

Keane: I\'ve Learned a Lot About My Players
at 16:54:15

jamie22 and others I don't think the majority are complaining about McAuley as a player but as a captain. If you hear any ex player talk about our previous captains in recent years like Holland, Magilton and De Vos...hell even Keane, they will tell you that all of those had a presence! Someone who could walk in the dressing room and demand respect and someone every player could go to for advice!

Now none of us no what happens behind the scenes but from the pitch displays he is a terrible captain. Trotter was going mental at Mcauley last night. Do you think we'd ever see a young player screaming at Jim or De Vos even if they were having a bad game? Of course not, they were respected.

Keane: I\'ve Learned a Lot About My Players
at 01:30:40

When their keeper got "shot" at the other end of the pitch did anyone else notice R Wright rallying round all the players in front of him, having a word with one or two defenders...and that gutless disgrace we call a captain just stood there looking disinterested when that should be his job in the first place! R Wright or (from his passion tonight alone!) Bruce should be our captain. Even young Trotter was screaming at McAuley tonight and he's what, 20?

Keane Has Target in Mind
at 15:11:03

McAuley is a great defender, he just had a shocking game on Saturday which is strange cause normally you play well against your old teams! I agree with him not having the pedigree to be a captain. Look at Jim and De Vos in recent years who would scream out orders at every opportunity! I barely see McAuley order his players around for corners or free kicks. The most animated I've seen him was at Carrow Road last year when the ref forced him off the pitch!

Striking Options for Keane Ahead of Leicester
at 14:19:00

Love these in depth previews you do! Get's me even more excited for the game! Does anyone know why we've gone from Garvan who's been a regular in the past 3-4 seasons to Trotter and Peters who couldn't even get games the past couple of years? Not that I'm questioning the Messiah!

Two or Three Signings Possible Before Coventry

“There are still big ifs - whether we'll get permission to speak to these players" Normally you say it's possible to bring in players after the bids are accepted Keano!

Town Back in For Sunderland Striker
at 20:11:36

Jas I think the criticism comes from not looking for a striker asap. Keane has been here since April and has had time to know what we need and what we have. Now we're days away from the start of the season with 3 strikers: one is injured/unfit and one is a boy!

We really need to hit the ground running and can't afford to wait another 2/3 weeks or so to actually complete our squad. We've played catch up for too many seasons now.
