Oh dear! After two successful years it is time to turn on Kieran McKenna. His only mistake is getting to the Premier League too soon. Despite spending a lot of money we do not have enough premier league quality players. This is particularly evident at centre back, which is the backbone of the team and where we are sadly lacking in quality. Despite being successful at Championship level, Mr McKenna is not yet ready for the Premier League and a return to the Championship to gain more experience will do him no harm. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Sickening Result at 11:41:29
After two years of amazing success it seems as though Mr. McKenna has found his level. I feel he reached the Premier League too soon and is out of his depth at this stage in his career. He needs to gain more experience at Championship level and then he will be ready for another crack at the Premier League in two or three years time be that with ITFC or elsewhere. |

for the first 20 minutes we marked Doku tightly and he did little damage. We then seemed to give him more space and look what happened. Why did we change our approach ? |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-2 Brighton & Hove Albion - Match Report at 11:44:36
Sad to say this was just not good enough. To survive in the Premier League we have to be beating the likes of Everton, Crystal Palace and Brighton. It is looking like we have come too far too soon. A couple of seasons in the championship might have been beneficial but we would probably have lost our manager and never made the Premier League. As the saying goes 'better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all' !! |
 | News Comment | McKenna Celebrates Three Years as Town Boss at 13:53:01
I am a life long supporter of my home town club, since the early 1950s, and I have seen it all through thick and thin. I am lucky enough to have seen my team become League Champions in 1962, win the FA Cup in 1978 and the EUFA Cup in 1981. I count myself very lucky to have witnessed these successes but when I reached the age of 70 I did not think I would again see them in the Premier League. I salute you Kieran for changing all that and making a lifelong Town Fan now approaching the age of 77 very Happy. Thank you, Kieran, most sincerely. |

Well said Rozeeboy74, spot on. The media in general needed reminding that there were two teams involved although you wouldn't have realised that with all the pro Man. Utd. hype in the press both before and after the match. Little mention of the involvement of ITFC. |

This is a regrettable incident that should not have happened, but do Sky Sports really want to be associated with a pundit who suggests a showdown with a supporter in the Car Park ? And well done to Ed Sheeran for reminding the media in general that there were two teams involved in the match although you could be forgiven for overlooking that with all the pro Man. Utd. hype in the press both before and after the game. |
 | News Comment | Chaplin: We Need to Make Sure It Doesn't Happen Again at 11:43:01
Is'nt that what was said after last season's FA Cup embarrassment ? We have a history of losing these sort of games and I Hope my embarrassment as a supporter is shared by the players. It may be early days for many of the players but there was enough quality on the pitch to win this game comfortably. We can only hope this sort of performance is not indicative of our Premier League season. |

Has been a Mickey Mouse competition for some time now. You only have to look at the teams the top Premier League Clubs put out to see how seriously they take it. |
