Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. It is at times like this you can see who the real supporters are. We are having an excellent season, but one poor performance opens the door for a barrage of abuse and criticism for a team and manager who who are giving their all to achieve automatic promotion to the Premier League. They do not deserve this. Yes, the performance against Norwich was below par but we, as real supporters of ITFC, need to stay behind our team and give them our full support until the end of the season and see where that leaves us. What does anyone hope to achieve by all the hysterical criticism. |

It is this season when they will gain an advantage by breaking the rules and if they are found to have broken the rules the deduction should be in the season the advantage is gained. There is an argument for breaking the rules just to get back into the Premier League. Aren't parachute payments enough for teams that have failed at Premier League level ? |

Same old story. We are unable to break down teams who 'park the bus'. Our tactics seem sadly lacking in these situations and we were lucky not to lose this one. We seem to be aware of how teams will play against us but unable to overcome it. After a good start we have fallen away badly. Automatic promotion has now gone and we will do well to stay in the top six. |

Late goals have cost us a few points and we need to learn how to see games out. We need to learn the 'dark arts' we so often come up against. Lay on the ground claiming injury, waste time at throw ins, goal kicks, free kicks etc. We are too keen to get the ball back in play when sitting on a slender lead. Not good to watch but effective in the 93rd minute! |
