Forest 'Close to Agreeing Hutchinson Fee'
at 23:13:25

Omari has been a fantastic player for us. He was the difference that got us promoted to the Premier League. Without him we would not have made it. We paid a lot of money for him and are making a big profit as he moves on in his career to bigger and better things. It’s a shame to lose him but it’s also a fantastic success story that Ipswich can show to other young talented footballers looking for an opportunity to further their career. The move makes perfect sense for all parties and he goes with my best wishes and thanks for everything he he as given to my club. Thanks Omari, good luck and remember Ipswich fans love you

Sorry to see him go, just like I’m sorry to see Burgess go. But at least it’s to a Premier league side.

Delap's Chelsea Move Confirmed
at 10:47:19

Great news for Liam and for Town. Wish him all the best and hope he does become the next Harry Kane. This is exactly the sort of result that will make it easier for Town to attract young up and coming players that can push Town on and help us build a profitable growing club

Manchester United 'In Pole Position' For Delap
at 19:16:05

Good buy for United and goodbye from Town. Would be a great move for Delap and would set him up for life. Who can blame him.

He’s only one tackle away from a career ending injury and he needs to cash in while he is such hot property.

I’m just glad we had him here for one season. I suspect he would still be with us if we hadn’t got relegated.

It’s good business for Town with a 100% profit on the £15m we spent. It’s a pity that relegation clause was there as we could probably have got more without it but I guess we wouldn’t have been able to sign him without it.

It will be a great advert for Town when they look to sign the next up and coming star. “Come to Town and the sky is the limit for you, look at Delap”

McKenna: The Good Thing is We're Talking About a Margin Not a Five-Goal Swing
at 13:20:52

Why should anyone think that McKenna does not play his strongest side every game, we have no idea about the fitness or knocks that players are carrying. McKenna has all the knowledge and experience and I’m pretty sure he is keen to win as many games as he can. He is not experimenting or putting out weaker teams than he possibly could.

Cajuste: Incredibly Frustrating
at 12:58:01

Yes we struggled a bit last night but we had some good performances around the pitch and I don’t recall Palace having many goal attempts (apart from the goal which was an unfortunate slip by Greavsie). They scored and we hit the post, that was the sum of the highlights I think.

Nothing much between the teams so need need to panic. It’s all fine margins (another 1-0). We are not being stuffed every week, we are competitive. It’s just another game, plenty of points still to play for and no need to panic. I thought at the start of the season it would probably go to the last game and I will take that as success if we can still be in it at the last game.

Thought the defence played well last night. Harry did well enough but Tuanzebe is better for us but injured. We looked better with Omari wide and Chappers at no 10. Clarke looks like he can cause problems with his running and dribbling, just needs to maybe move the ball a bit sooner. Delap ran his heart out but playing against a very solid defence. We never really got past the full backs except when Omari went wide and put a lovely ball across the goal. Midfield were ok and looked ok still when Taylor came on. Broadhead looked lively as well when he came on.

I suspect some of the lads not playing last night are nursing some injuries, KM has to utilise his whole squad and I’m prepared to admit he probably knows better than me which team he can put out.

McKenna: We've Lost Tuanzebe Long Term
at 14:48:34

That’s a big blow. Our performances have been much better with Axel back in the side.

Ben Johnson was a revelation the last few games he played before this latest injury. I hope is is available soon to help offset the loss of Axel.
