Harry Clarke
at 19:36 5 Jan 2025

After the win against Chelsea I noticed Harry Clarke walk straight down the touchline and into the tunnel. Didn't acknowledge any of the players on the pitch. I know he wasn't in the squad but he's lead the celebrations before when he's been sub or injured. Potentially a sign of frustration at not being picked? Or maybe he's on the move in Jan with Godfrey coming in? Or am I just rambling about nothing?

It was just an odd sight.

To the tune of "Bella Ciao"

His name’s Cajuste,
He comes from Sweden
He signed for Town, signed for Town,
Signed for Town Town Town
Our number 12,
On loan from Napoli,
And he’s f***ing quality

Repeat!! Louder!! Faster!!

This would be a belter!!

That Tottenham mascot..
at 06:58 12 Nov 2024

I can't help but feel incredibly sorry for that kid. I mean it's hard to know exactly what happened as the (town in 5) clip ends before he leaves the tunnel. Hearing him say "WHO AM I WITH???" in such panic was horrible.
My son was a mascot for a Sweden international and it was the proudest moment of his life. The thought of not seeing him walk out onto the pitch or without holding a players hand would have broken my heart!!

If the kid did have a sad experience we should offer him an opportunity at PR 💙

Does anybody own this hoodie??

If so, would anybody be willing to sell it in a medium or Large? My best mate is turning 40 and has been trying to get this for last 2 years. It'd be a great birthday gift.
Please DM me if so 🙏
Kind regards,

If the rumours are true then we are about to get one hell of a player! I live in Stockholm and go to all of Sweden's home matches. Everytime he's played he conducts what goes on around him. He's tall and athletic. Wins duals that are 30/70 not in his favour. Great passer of the ball and carries it direct and at speed. Fantastic for breaking the lines and getting the opposition to pedal backwards. This would be a quality signing.

Get it done!!!

Portman Road roof
at 18:15 12 Aug 2024

Does anybody know if the roof of both the West Stand and Cobold are to be painted in the refurbishment of Portman Road? I bloody love our ground, everything about it but I can't help think that it would look a million times better with the roofs painted or replaced.

Also a pressure washer on the SAR and SBR roofs too, bit green and grimey in places.

Reiss Nelson thoughts?

What do you all think about Reiss Nelson? Left winger with some Premier League experience, and he's been training with top-tier players every day. I'm confident he'd excel under McKenna's guidance.

Dear Ipswich fans...
at 11:09 7 Aug 2024

We've been on quite a journey these past couple of years, haven't we? From the ups and downs in League One to that glorious promotion back to the Championship, we've been through it all together. We've felt the thrill of victories, the sting of defeats, and the immense pride of seeing our beloved Ipswich Town rise again. Now, we're facing new challenges, and I want to talk about how we approach this next chapter.

This season, we’re up against some of the best teams in the country. There’s no denying it—it's going to be tough. There will be moments when the results don’t go our way, when we face the frustration of seeing our team fall short, and when the temptation to walk out early or voice our disappointment feels strong. But it’s precisely in these moments that our support matters most.

Remember where we’ve come from. Not long ago, we were fighting to climb out of League One, and now, here we are, rubbing shoulders with Premier League clubs, challenging ourselves against the very best. This is what we’ve worked so hard for, and it’s worth every ounce of our passion and support, even when the going gets tough.

When the final whistle blows, whether we’ve won, drawn, or lost, let’s make sure we’re still there, standing proud, clapping our players off the pitch. They need to hear our voices, feel our backing, and know that we’re with them every step of the way.

We’re Ipswich Town. We don’t leave early, and we don’t give up on our team. We sing loud and proud, right to the final whistle, win, lose, or draw. We are the twelfth man, and our support can make all the difference. Let’s make Portman Road a fortress, not just for the points we gain but for the unwavering support we show. Let’s remind the players why it’s an honor to wear our shirt and give them the strength to keep fighting, no matter the scoreline.

This season will be challenging, no doubt. But with every challenge comes an opportunity to show our character, our resilience, and our love for this club. Let’s appreciate every moment, because we’ve earned this place, and we’re here to make the most of it.

So, when you’re in the stadium, keep singing, keep clapping, and keep supporting. Let’s show the football world what Ipswich Town supporters are all about. Together, we can make this season one to remember for all the right reasons.

Uppa Town!

Which players from our previous Premiership seasons....
at 15:06 31 Jul 2024

Would you have in our squad today??

92/93
93/94
94/95
00/01
01/02

I remember Mickey Stockwell as my idol as a 6 year year old. Consistency and high work rate. I would also take Matt Holland to play alongside Morsey!! Stewart would also find a place.

Linesman positioning
at 12:14 23 Jul 2024

This morning I was watching the season review of 01-02. During the season we play Man Utd away and I noticed something odd. The linesman was positioned on the opposite half of the pitch. Normally when watching on TV they are positioned to the Goalkeepers left and always have been as far as I know and remember?!

Does anyone know wether this was normal or if referees used to be able to decide where the linesman should be?

Can we claim for 3 points from 22 years ago? 😂

An odd post I know but it really confused me!

England Left Back options

Maybe it's just me, but looking at that squad, Leif Davis in my opinion is our country's best left back. Obviously no premiership appearances but would you take any of those players over Leif at Ipswich??

Huddersfield ticket help
at 12:03 23 Apr 2024

Hi all,

I'm writing to ask if there is anybody who could potentially help with Huddersfield tickets. I managed to get one ticket as I've been to 9 games this season. My son however has been to 4. We didn't manage to get him a ticket today but have already booked our flights from Sweden for the game.

Is there anybody out there who has two tickets together that would exchange for my one single ticket in SAR upper block 3 and £100?

I know this will be frowned upon but I don't care we've travelled from Sweden so much this year and spent a fortune. We also came back for the Watford and Boro game where my son got sick before Boro and I gave his ticket back to the club. Had I have known he needed 5 I would have kept it.

Please private message me if you are able to help! It would be appreciated so much!

Thank you! ( Tack så mycket )

Chris

Please help - what would you do?
at 18:06 19 Apr 2024

Hi guys,

Me and my son booked flights for the Huddersfield game from Sweden. I have been to 7 game this season and he has been to 4. He missed Middlesbrough because he was sick and I didn't bother purchasing a ticket as I didn't think the first dibs would be 5 + games.

So I have 5+ he has 4

Would you either:

(A)
Book myself a ticket on Monday and then chance getting him one close to me on Tuesday sale?

(B)
I wait and book us both tickets together on Tuesday?

I'm so worried about missing out on Tuesday when I have chance of getting a ticket for myself on Monday.

Any advice?

Thank you

2 tickets v Watford available
at 16:43 9 Apr 2024

Hi all,

I should be travelling to the game tomorrow from Sweden but unfortunately my son has come down with a fever and we can't travel. I have 2 tickets available in row A of the upper Cobold. I would happily give them back to the club but the people on this forum have been so kind to me in helping me with tickets throughout this season so I'd like to give the opportunity back here first if there are any takers?

Will sell at face value of course £30 each. Absolutely gutted. Lost £220 to bloody Ryanair!!

Feel free to send a PM!

Tuanzebe song?

I feel that this lad needs a song. Had some brilliant performances of late. How about this to the tune of Wonderwall?

Potential Playoff tickets
at 19:57 4 Mar 2024

Hi everybody,

I really don't like talking ahead of myself but as we are almost guaranteed playoffs now I'd really appreciate any knowledge or advice on tickets.

I am a Super blues member and live in Sweden. I've managed to get back for 7 matches this season and hopefully end the season on 8 or 9.

My question is do you think there will be a certain amount of tickets purchased to qualify for buying both Semi final and Final tickets?

I had this problem with the Norwich game as you needed to have purchased at least 3 tickets to be able to purchase a ticket for that game.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. In an ideal world I'd get back for more games but match day tickets for me and my son on top of flights are costing us 200-400 quid a pop.

Thanks all

New club song?
at 16:32 5 Feb 2024

Does anyone feel that the club should have a song that gives it an identity that no one else has.

We have a global sensation in Ed Sheeran who is devoted to the club and a long life fan. I absolutely love when fans from another club belt out their song with pride. Surely with Ed and his list of hits we could adopt one to be out own?!

Personally I think "Perfect" fits perfectly, excuse the pun.

Imagine 29,000 belting that out every game. Goosebumps! Sometimes the slow and emotional songs is what gets the players pumped and fans up for it.

Maybe the club or Ed himself could choose 2 or 3 songs and the fans could even vote. But perfect would be sick!!

I found a love, for me
Darling, just dive right in and follow my lead
Well, I found a girl, beautiful and sweet
Oh, I never knew you were the someone waiting for me
'Cause we were just kids when we fell in love
Not knowing what it was
I will not give you up this time
But darling, just kiss me slow
Your heart is all I own
And in your eyes, you're holding mine
Baby, I'm dancing in the dark
With you between my arms
Barefoot on the grass
Listening to our favourite song
When you said you looked a mess
I whispered underneath my breath
But you heard it
Darling, you look perfect tonight

Thoughts?

Portman Road atmosphere proposal
at 20:36 3 Feb 2024

I live in Stockholm and my team here are Hammarby. They have some of the most vocal supporters in Europe believe it or not.
The main reason for being so loud is that the fans that travel to away games all sit together in the "klack" at home. Same faces same passion.

The Alf Ramsey stand at Portman road is stylistically ideal for the singers to be. The upper stand is really deep, making the noise travel far bouncing off the roof. Being right next to the away fans too adds to the excitement and passion.

My idea would be this.

Offer all Ipswich town season ticket holders that hold more than 10+ away points from this season to sit in the Alf Ramsey upper and also a discounted price. This would encourage fans to move and rewards them for their loyalty travelling. We all want noise and to be the 12th man for the club. Imagine A Blocks flags flying in there it would be incredible.
It gives those 2000 - 4000 that travel far and wide to stand with each other week in week out.

Thoughts...?
