After the win against Chelsea I noticed Harry Clarke walk straight down the touchline and into the tunnel. Didn't acknowledge any of the players on the pitch. I know he wasn't in the squad but he's lead the celebrations before when he's been sub or injured. Potentially a sign of frustration at not being picked? Or maybe he's on the move in Jan with Godfrey coming in? Or am I just rambling about nothing?
It was just an odd sight. |

I can't help but feel incredibly sorry for that kid. I mean it's hard to know exactly what happened as the (town in 5) clip ends before he leaves the tunnel. Hearing him say "WHO AM I WITH???" in such panic was horrible.
My son was a mascot for a Sweden international and it was the proudest moment of his life. The thought of not seeing him walk out onto the pitch or without holding a players hand would have broken my heart!!
If the kid did have a sad experience we should offer him an opportunity at PR ๐ |

Here's my reply to you about your post!!
I am the guy with my son getting the kids Liverpool shirt signed by Arne Slott after the game and let me give you so f'ricking content behind it.
I'm an ex Ipswich academy player of 9 years and moved to Sweden when I was 20. I've lived there now for 16 years and flown back for over 120 home matches during that time. My Swedish son seen with me in this shot is also a devoted Ipswich fan who consistently gets s*** from the kids in his school because he wears his Ipswich shirt with pride and wants to spread our name.
My son's friend is 10 and ill in hospital and we thought it might just brighten his day if we take his Liverpool shirt to Portman Road today to try and get it signed by some of the players..what the f Is wrong with that?? I guess you didn't see the 1 1/2 hours we stood in the same position before the game and my son filling up his own Ipswich shirt with autographs.
So before you go posting your passive aggressive comments about me and my son getting a kids Liverpool shirt signed just think that there maybe certain reasons behind what you see!!!!!! [Post edited 17 Aug 2024 18:39]

Conte has basically come in and said he's not in his plans..Not his type of player for whatever reason. He wants to offload to bring in Marco Brescianini. I've heard that he's now going to Milan but Conte has others he wants but basically he's clearing to make room for what suits him. |

That's what my friend working with Swedish u21s also mentioned. Brentford got cold feet during the medical due to a few previous documented injuries and hesitated. They wanted to give themselves a better deal but Napoli were having none of it. [Post edited 14 Aug 2024 16:11]

If the rumours are true then we are about to get one hell of a player! I live in Stockholm and go to all of Sweden's home matches. Everytime he's played he conducts what goes on around him. He's tall and athletic. Wins duals that are 30/70 not in his favour. Great passer of the ball and carries it direct and at speed. Fantastic for breaking the lines and getting the opposition to pedal backwards. This would be a quality signing.

Now I'm going to sounds extremely thick. I have no clue about building safety and it's regulations. But if you wanted to just paint a water proof black paint over the top of it would that be an issue? I can understand if you start hacking away at it and causing dust. But if the rain and downpours of the last 50 years haven't done any damage surely coating it in paint would be ok? |

Does anybody know if the roof of both the West Stand and Cobold are to be painted in the refurbishment of Portman Road? I bloody love our ground, everything about it but I can't help think that it would look a million times better with the roofs painted or replaced.
Also a pressure washer on the SAR and SBR roofs too, bit green and grimey in places. |
