| News Comment | McKenna: We Didn’t Defend a Couple of Moments Well Enough at 09:32:38
Hindsight is a fantastic thing. Over the past month or so our substitutes have worked to our advantage. The opposite happened as no doubt we needed an additional defender or midfield if not both. How Cardiff penned us back into our own penalty box is a mystery. But if you allow the opponents to do so the result is obvious & the warning was there when thy missed a sitter minutes before they scored |

As said football is played on grass not on paper. If you could predict the leagues ending then I suggest doing the lottery. My philosophy is take every game as they come |
| News Comment | Foster: A Tough One to Take at 09:15:19
So ironic that our first & crucial goal was a deflected own goal. This against the team who last season scored so many similar goals |
| News Comment | Town Visit Plymouth Aiming For Five in a Row at 07:22:05
I to have the fear of their attacking force / vulnerable defence & our recent record against them But I feel that Steven Schumacher is a big loss to Argyll. And as long as we don't concede first it could be our day |
| News Comment | Palace Reportedly Fail in Move For McKenna at 09:37:59
It is clear that Ipswich & Mckenna are going places, hopefully together. Palace wouldn't be a wise move as their history proves. There is no way he will leave us for South London. On the Robson topic Bobby was a sort after manager and did agree to join Everton. But changed his mind at the last moment because of his loyalty to the Cobbold family |
| News Comment | McKenna: Another Game We Feel We've Done Enough to Win at 11:11:06
A lot of comments about the amount of goals we are conceding. I know it's a tougher league than Div 1 , but last season we had one of the best defensive records if not the best. Difference maybe the goal keeper |
| News Comment | Former Blue Norris Overwhelmed By Fans' Support at 06:50:58
Never nice to be placed in this position. But correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't this the player who left ipswich at the end of a contact. Offered a new deal but decided to go for more money on a free |
| News Comment | West Brom and Millwall Games on Sky at 09:26:56
Our wonderful start to the season caught Sky out. Showed Sunderland as they expected a tanking. Otherwise we would have more games already. I agree our record on sky although better still isn't great. Wonder how Bobby's teams would have faired, but even then Town nor favoured by bbc |
| News Comment | Leeds United 4-0 Ipswich Town - Extended Highlights at 13:22:43
We are lucky to have 2 good keepers. I just think Walton is the better of the 2 & controlls his box better. Also better at crosses although Hladky is excellent with the ball at his feet |
| News Comment | Leeds United 4-0 Ipswich Town - Extended Highlights at 10:55:35
Does anyone agree. Our defensive record in League 1 was the best in the division. I realise its a harder league but we are now conceding more than would be expected from a top side. Difference look at the goal keeping position. Christian Walton won the golden glove last season |
| News Comment | Wagner: A Deserved Point at 16:52:02
Not deserved, more lucky. Norwich were poor through out & their attacking threat was sumed up by the first 2 corners they got. 10 of their players surrounding our keeper |
| News Comment | McKenna: Conceding From the First Corner Makes It Really, Really Difficult at 09:51:06
Conceding the number of goals we do & especially early ones was always going to catch us out. Our magnificent defensive record last season , was achieved with virtually the same defence..The one exception being the best keeper outside the Premiership. Time to bring back Walton |
| News Comment | Leeds and Leicester Games on Sky at 17:38:10
Typical national media ignore Town ( as they often did with Sir Bobby's teams t). Didnt expect us to do as well as we have. From 2 games in the first 3 months we now find the opposite. Let's hope we can continue to storm the league |
| News Comment | McKenna: A Mixed Night at 10:36:33
It is good that TV highlighted the inadequacies of the refereree. The chap probably not a fan of ours as he was the man who sent of 2 our players in the Posh game 12 years ago. On the comment about goals conceded it should be mentioned the excellent record of Walton last season. Different league but he kept more clean sheets than anyone else in League 1 |
