My point is that all our front players who have played the most (Omari, Delap, Enciso, Clarke) are very much individuals. At least ten times every game this season poor decision making from the front players sees a chance break down.

I went to school with Ox so maybe biased, but a very very good player on his day. Possibly a risk with injuries and wages likely to be high, BUT if there’s one thing we are very very good at these days it’s managing players’ minutes and minimising the risk of injuries. |

Once he's established us in the PL, I'd actually be more than happy for him to take it over as long as we remained in good hands. I'm too young to remember Sir Alf and Sir Bobby but there must be a sense of pride in your manager being recognised enough to take over the national team.
That would also make it 3 managers we'd given England which is another nice bit of history. |
