You see that given but Omari getting wiped out from behind isn't? I just don't get it. |

WBA needed to take one of those chances. We've been there. |

I've talked about this with my wife before, I don't think I'd let them until they were 12-13 and even then I'd want safe guards. I had a phone at 13 but it you could play snake and text someone at 10p a pop. Bit different now... |

Sorry about that, I haven't had my coffee yet. |

Yup, I imagine we'll see Burns on the bench... maybe Hirst if we're really lucky. Either would be a huge bonus. |

I know it's not going to happen but part of me dreams of looking at the team sheet and seeing Hirst and Burns starting. |

When I watched them against Leeds they looked threatening without doing all that much. They were really missing someone like Hirst to bring it all together. |
| Forum Reply | If Town were beating Nodge 20-0 and they had a young keeper in goal at 17:18 16 Apr 2024
Probably, even if just because there's no point going all out at that score. Funnily enough, I was involved in an absolute battering when I played at Uni but I think after the 7th or 8th goal went in I was mentally checked out and looking forward to some beers on the coach on the way home. |

Another one for KJ. Came in at our lowest point and he's still going at our highest (in recent times). Testament to his attitude, similar can be said for Donacien. |

I hope you don't mind, but I've run this past my wife who is an assistant psychologist (hopefully soon will be doing her doctorate!) because I thought she might be able to point you somewhere. I'll try and summarise what she told me as best I can. Given your anxiety and everything you've mentioned, it does still sound like depression which can come in many forms, even the out-of-body part you described. The therapy you did before should have hopefully given you some of the tools to try and deal with the current way you're thinking and help get you out of it. If they taught you these methods, now is the time to get them back out of the toolbox. She said therapy is a lifelong thing, in that whilst you may only go for a short period, it's what they teach you about how you handle your emotions that is the most important bit. I'm not sure where you're based, but if it's in Suffolk then she suggested trying an IAPT service. https://infolink.suffolk.gov.uk/kb5/suffolk/infolink/service.page?id=v8LIC6d2pw4 If not, try Googling IAPT Service with whichever county you're in and that should get you somewhere. They are self-referral and usually don't have too long a waiting list. Even if they cannot directly help you, they'll be able to point you in the right place for some proper help. On a personal note, I realise this must have been horrid to write down but well done for sharing. You can get through this, it may take time, but with some help, you can do it. If you ever need to talk to someone, my PMs are always open (and that goes to anyone else). [Post edited 15 Apr 15:07]

I keep forgetting that Leicester's run-in isn't much fun either. West Brom, Southampton, Preston and Blackburn. Some tough ol' games in there. Shame three of them are at home but still. |

Yeah, but honestly Ball is just a worse version of Tuanzebe at right back. When we've got Clarke, he brings more speed and more threat. |

Really decent half, limited their opportunities well. Only thing concerning me right now is Tuanzebe. He gets so far forward but doesn't have the pace to get back and I don't think he's offering enough threat to make the gamble worth it. Nobody we can switch him off for but I hope he just is a bit more conservative in when he chooses to close down or go forward. |

I've been horribly nervous since the end of the international break. I'm so used to Ipswich not having anything to play for, especially at this point of the season, that the fact we might actually do it is driving me crazy. I'm also so used to disappointment that I'm just naturally expecting us to screw up even though that's not us anymore under KM. I'm gonna have a heart attack if it goes through to the final game. |

Tough one and you're probably right, it's just a balance kind of thing. If it was 10 out of 2,000 given to a few choice people I just feel that isn't that unreasonable. In Dyer's case in particular he is a fan and he's obviously not going to be getting to many games given his career. I understand those who don't agree with me though. |
