Personally I think to stop this time wasting football should do what NFL does and have a live clock on show that stops everytime the balls is not in play, you would suddenly see hardly any time wasting then if any at all. |

That was the worst I’ve seen us play since league one pre KM. No desire, no fight, no commitment and lacklustre with no cutting edge or fluency whatsoever. I am very concerned based on what I’ve seen in the first 3 league matches and cup match, we look like a team destined for relegation so we need to forget about promotion that’s delusional with these players atm. I don’t know where to start, Greaves made another awful mistake and O’Shea nearly made just as costly ones. Johnson is clueless (Young is much better). Taylor really tried today but just lacks quality when it matters, Cajuste we seem to be waiting a lifetime to be up and running fitness wise (when he’s fit he will be a welcome change in there). Davis looks lost in his new role, what’s happened to him flying down the wing pinging in crosses? Smodzics is not being played to his strengths (remember this is a guy that got 30 odd goals two seasons ago in this league!). Hirst is got no support at all, Jack Clarke and Philogene are just consistently disappointing week in week out running into trouble. I know this group of players clearly need to gel but if this continues lack of confidence just breeds poor results (ask Luton fans), KM needs to pick this up ASAP because at the end of the day this is a business and the USA owners will start welding the axe if this continues much longer I guarantee it.
Like most I love in hope now not expectation we can start getting wins on the board but until we start changing our attitude and show hunger this situation could well spiral magnificently south, watch this space if we lose the next couple of games KM will be under serious pressure to keep his job. |

And what happens if he is not sold this window? Will he continue to act like a spoilt petulant child and not play football? (After all that is what he’s paid extremely well to do!). I just hope now negotiations are under way in the background and we can get him moved on ASAP. We will need to invest though in a few more players, the squad looks light and disjointed atm, Al Hamadi needs to go what an awful player he is. I think Southampton will turn us over Sunday unless the two new signings play and make an impact. It sounds like he wants Ipswich over Birmingham despite the permanent move offer and they are now looking at alternative striker too. However this really needs closure now, if he’s passed the medical and agreed terms then what on earth is the hold up? Surely this will be wrapped up be COP tomorrow at the very latest? And it’s all gone quiet on Cajuste deal too? It does seem both these deals are going around in circles atm. On Friday night we start our championship campaign, currently we still have not replaced Delap, still have not filled the void in CM after losing Phillips/Cajuste/Morsey/Luango and to add salt in the wounds we now might not have a fit LB ready for next week. It now looks like after not convincing Hackney we might be losing out on Cajuste too. I was not at all concerned a couple of weeks ago, but now I am starting to have doubts whether we are going to get anymore deals over the line (in fact we have more chance of losing Broadhead and Hutchinson then players coming in). It’s starting to feel like a couple of miracles need to happen pretty soon otherwise we might have a very disappointing start to this season given how light we are in no9 and CM particularly. |

With just over a week until our first league game I am starting to get a little concerned with the lack of Strikers (Hirst) and CMs (Taylor and Azor Matusiwa)? Maybe Cameron Humpreys is going to play CM? Can’t see Al Hamadi being anywhere near this squad even as a backup no9. lol Huni’s Manager is just bitter for losing, it’s sport get over it! The ref made a decision to wave off at 9 secs because he had judged Huni was not coherent and fit to continue, spot on decision saving him from possible unnecessary injury or worse. The ref has a duty of care for both fighters, lots of KOs get called way before 10 secs if the opponent is in a bad position. Nothing will come of this, it’s heavyweight boxing nothing is over until the last bell. |

I agree on comments ref Davis, going forward a quality player with a decent cross but hopeless at defending. Personally I feel the team would be far better balanced and tighter if Townsend played left back with Davis LW. We all know KM won’t do that though, Forrest will expose us down our left hand side and I can’t see anything but a convincing loss either way Wolves beating Southampton. By end of play tomorrow we will be 9 points adrift. Planning would for championship surely has already started, if Aston can convince the manager and better players I.e Delap to stay and give it a go at promotion next season then this squad will rip the Championship apart. Although CMs will need replacing and reinforcing as Morsey and Luango are on borrowed time now. Interesting times ahead this summer, we will see just how ambitious the owners and Ashton really are I guess. Personally I think he will keep most of the squad together and bring some smart additions in for a serious promotion push next season. I just hope the lads start playing with more freedom and less fear now and at least go down fighting. |

From what I saw we were completely lack lustre going forward…. Jaden, Clarke just awful with final ball (jaden fluffed a golden chance too). When Hutchinson cone on just kept facing backwards then playing the ball back to the keeper. Encisco looked lively but like many kept giving the ball away. Davis looked a liability nearly gifting palace a goal, we look defeated before a ball is a kicked and completely lack confidence now.
Since the Southampton defeat we have not looked the same, sadly that was when any chances of survival died. What a dreadful miserable season (3 wins) it has been, the squad that did so well last year ripped apart and now had the team will jump ship this summer leaving us in a right mess. I hope we don’t suffer from this losing habit next season like Luton have, as we could find ourselves dropping again. In hindsight I wished Leeds pipped us to 2nd spot and we lost in the playoffs. We are so out of our depth it’s painful, right now we are the worse team in the league (only team this year to not win). I honestly don’t think we will win again this season, maybe a couple of draws. Wolves picked up a useful point tonight too, they will beat us and clearly show why they are streets ahead of us. Relegation can’t come quick enough, put us out of our misery.

The minimum the ban will be is 4 games due to him being suspended for violent conduct already this season. However I would expect a longer ban given the seriousness of his actions. Where do I start? To put this into context we have just been beaten by one of the WORST teams in the history of the Premier League! Muric once again proved to be completely incompetent at his job, the first goal I could of saved myself and the second he needs to push that out wide instead of the direct it came from (the danger zone). His contract needs ripping to shreds! Play Slicker who at least will put in an honest performance. The other end we produced nothing at all, looked out of idea completely against a dreadful defence, like many I am deflated and lost for words after that. WE ARE RELEGATED make no mistake about that. I certainly won’t waste time (logging into the the website as a member trying to scramble for a home ticket) or money anymore this season as the players have thrown the towel in some games ago and just don’t care and not up for a fight. This promotion has come too soon, we will lose many players next season and will probably do a Luton I’m afraid. The only positive is we won’t struggle to get a ticket next season in the championship, but we will lose KM and many players, and won’t win another game this season in the league. We will go down with Southampton and Leicester because we are the 3 worst teams. |
