Given whats at stake requiring a draw and win it would be surprised if the medical/physio team patch this one up with painkilling injections to get through these next two games. That said it’s always a risk of further injury playing through with high strength painkillers, it would be a blow yes but we have burns bk on the right for threats and KM will look at either Harry Clarke or Cam Humphrey’s on that left back position. Bit of perspective here, we played a Hull team UNBEATEN in 6! And took them on and secured a draw. Next 2 games: Coventry who are knackered and injuries mounting up most likely to play Fri he players with nothing to pay for. At minimum we need a draw there. Huddersfield (relegated unless they beat us 15-0) again nothing to play for. It’s in our hands! That was a very good point we would have all taken before kick off. 1 draw and 1 win secures it…… it is happening! We will be promoted come end of next weekend. |

If town win sat it’s irrelevant what what Leeds do, Leicester have one foot in the premier league now so it’s out of us and Leeds for 2nd spot…. KM will have the players up for these games. It’s ours to hold onto now, we’ve stuffed Hull and Coventry already this season and Hull will be tired from the game tomorrow night. With Burns back and maybe Hirst plus a rested Moore we will be very lively…. We are due a big win, hopefully it starts sat. Nothing to lose, town have been incredible and will get what they deserve this season (hopefully 2nd spot). If not I am confident we will win the playoffs, but let’s get behind the teams Sat and get the job done. |

Nothing changes it’s still in OUR HANDS so not sure why some negativity is creeping in on here? The finish line is in site, town have a well rested squad with the return of Burns and possibly Hirst we are more than capable of winning the last 3 to seal promotion. QPR still require 2 points to gaurantee survival so they won’t be easy for Leeds particularly at loftus road, bearing in mind Leeds have a dreadful history in London (likes ours against Norwich lol). Southampton if they win tonight will still be in the auto race so don’t rule them out either. Whatever the results tonight and Friday KM will be looking to win at Hull (a team we demolished this season already) so I’m confident we will get 3 points sat night then take it from there.
It’s in our hands! This team will do it, the team spirit is the best in the league and we all know they will give it 100%! At worst it’s play offs but right now we are in the driving seat for 2nd spot, it’s up to us to remain in it which I’m very confident we will. |

If we were offered our position with 5 games to go where it’s on our hands for 2nd spot let’s face it we would have bitten the arm off! Yes today was very disappointing in terms of result and performance but we go again Weds then sat with 2 home games. We haven’t got to 87 points playing like today, this team will respond weds. Leeds lost too, all 3 of us have some tricky games left so many twists and turns yet I feel especially looking At Leicesters’s run in. On the positive side Morsey did not be a yellow so that’s one game closer to him not receiving a 3 match ban, and Burns has come through the scan ok so he will be returning soon. Let’s get behind the team Weds and get 3 points! All to play for, 2 home wins changes momentum again. |

If it’s a knock I suspect Moore will recover for sat but Al-Hamadi has not let us down and remember when we looked back to our best in the last 20 mins it was without Moore so if he’s not quite ready for sat we will be fine. 3 points to make up for draw they robbed with two offside goals at Portman Road, it’s about time we beat that lot up the road….. we are much much a better team so this match is there for the taking! I get there are tough games ie Leicester where in both cases the team delivered top performances and results but if you are honestly thinking this run of form is nothing to be concerned about you have your head firmly in the sand! 12 point gap squandered, Leeds and Southampton fans are laughing at us right now. |

Disappointed again. Hladky 2 mistakes in 2 games now, burns looks spent……. First half we looked clueless. When we had two upfront and Hutchinson on we looked confident. Sadly top 2 has now gone, playoffs is not guaranteed either especially whilst we are in relegation form (1 win in 9). Can’t help but feel we have thrown away a golden opportunity of automatic promotion in an unbelievable fashion, bad times. Wheels are completely fallen off and we are in free fall. It will be a blessing in disguise dropping out of the playoffs because we will be battered by anyone over two legs who make it. Such as shame really because for 21 games this team looked a real threat. I just hope we can hold onto KM next season. |
