Lambert: Too Much Football Over Christmas
at 19:55:45

I don't think we are playing too many games with the squad that we have.
None of this squad will be playing every game. And none will be playing 66 games in one season like Russell Osman did in 80-81.

Hogg Always Talking Football With Father-in-Law Burley
at 19:41:35

I wrote this in January 2002 as a tribute to Burley:

Our Tractor

It seemed our tractor had broken down
Had the wheels come off? There were frowns in the Town
It was stuck in a rut at the bottom of the hill
Holding everyone up, but hope there was still
For the people of the Town knew it last year
When it ran so well and so it was clear
That climbing the hill couldn't be that hard
It was too good for the Nationwide scrapyard
And so these feelings began to be proved
When all of a sudden our Tractor started to move
And with a growl of the engine and a blast of the horn
The driver knew he'd got his Tractor reborn
On all cylinders now it seems to be firing
Rolling on and on and not at all tiring
And the people of the Town stop to applaud and to cheer it
And they know that the driver is the right man to steer it!

Thanks for all you've done for this Club George

Greatest Living Yorkshireman? If I Win It, It'll Be On My Desk!
at 17:52:03

At three, before the game
Micks nose pointed to the six

Sometime, during the game
Micks nose accidentally took a kick

At five, after the game
Micks nose pointed between the 5 and 4

'I used to follow my nose' says Mick
'But now I go in circles, so I don't do it anymore!'

Mick is the greatest Yorkshireman, and he NOSE what he's doing!

Nottingham Forest 2-2 Town
at 17:37:53

Gutted to have conceded so late on, but still a great result against a club who have spent a lot of money. Still feel very positive about our team.
